I’ve talked about the difficulties of getting 3mt out of that decline by truck. The viability doesn’t work as the mine gets lower and 4 mining fronts are required just to get out 2.8mt. Those 4 mining fronts are shown in the admissions document they are about 700m deep. The conveyor construction will take quite a few years to complete possibly in time for the lower levels.

Shaun stated the other day mine life extensions will be looked at in 2040.

A SLC under the dyke is possible but only when the stoping is complete around and below it.

The PFS only targeted very high grade material with a very high cut off to make the viability of the project for a business decision to mine it. A starter Mine.

At consecutive Town hall meetings in London Shaun first described the confined aquifer as not being a problem as the pressures were low and then the liners for the additional ponds arrived and can be seen on google earth. Then in 2023 those storms caused the ponds to overflow and the permissions for extra ponds went in for approval. He then talked about the high pressures involved which contradicted the earlier meeting obviously this was led by Newcrest scientists. Shaun said that these ponds would only be a “as and when needed”. Further meetings he described the pressures are low and the rock structure will just allow the water to trickle through it, meaning all the extra ponds wouldn’t be required unless necessary.

The Decline plan has now been altered by Ggp to aim for a “bump” in the basement level so there will be less Decline length going through the aquifer. ( This can be seen on the last 3D graphics)

A conveyor Decline will have to go through all this rubbish ground again unless it comes from further NW in Scallywag to go under it where the basement level is higher. When I asked Shaun about it he said that wouldn’t happen. In the meantime Ggp released “Teach” area and subsequently Newmont acquired it, in my opinion maybe the starting point for the Decline. As far as i know it hasn’t been transferred over yet to Ggp. It may not get straight into the basement level but it could miss the 2 upper unconfined aquifers.

Looks like Ggp are getting ready to start drilling next to Parklands on their 100% owned land according to Saltpetie.

I’ve met loads of people from this community of ours, always very friendly and positive, which isn’t the impression this Board gives.

Rotherby is planning two meet ups one in Tamworth the other north of Derby, both are full straight away. I find that absolutely amazing. Finding somewhere that holds around 30 people and somewhere to hold a presentation is difficult , if anyone knows of a suitable venue let us know. Stroud is ideal can handle large groups close to M5, lots of parking, big dining area, separate room for presentation.

I’m under the impression Ggp will only produce an official updated resource every 12 months after the June one. Only my opinion though . They will be producing quarter updates though as they will be working through the assets, this could take years to do with drilling involved. Very excited watching this grow.

They are targeting 833,000 tons for 26,000oz

10 drills 2 of which are targeting the main shell for material testing purposes and the other 8 expanding the resource.

This is probably the closest identified resource to Telfer by other miners but mainly oxide ores.

Oxide ores at Telfer ran out before 2002 and Telfer plant had to be changed and expanded to handle sulphide ores.

Greatland are probably expanding their resource back into oxide ores as they become viable again, will be interesting to know how they are dealing with these.

The Reserve update is going to be hard to predict and it’s going to be based on the resource MRE.

Will they or won’t they update the Havieron reserve which is in that MRE, they’ve stated earlier Havieron will be updated in the FS.

There’s small amounts in the Main Dome underground.

Bulk of it though will come from the West Dome pit.

They’ve brought in 2 more rigs in to upgrade the inferred into the indicated category. This upgrade can only happen within the MRE designated boundary. There’s 86.8mt to infill drill, this will be a large increase to the resource figure which stands at 10.2moz at the moment. This could go over 12moz.

It doesn’t stop there though that inferred category is mainly in the bottom of the pit in the MVR reef , the most mineralised reef at Telfer.

This could be as long as 2km under stage 7 as well and the Saddle area I think referred to as the northern potential.

One hell of a lot more to come just from this pit.

I can see some costs though as the pit batters need to go wider or further back and some waste mounds remodelled.

Around 115mt has been identified in the West Dome pit that’s another 6 years processing.”

In summary the reserve resource will mainly revolve around the huge tonnages in the West Dome pit and maybe an updated Havieron reserve which is due an update of around 50%.

The West Dome Deeps is a massive growth story.

Those underground drilling rigs only picked up about a third of the high grade ore body. They couldn’t reach it all, they’ve missed the most southerly high grade cluster completely, only one above ground drill rig hit that one. It’s still open at depth, to the south, to the west and to the north.

What they did find though was the similar geology to the Main dome stage, this could be a huge find with some of the intercepts are really high grades. Really exciting and they haven’t reported anything yet between the Deeps and the MVR below the pit. It’s the same geology as the Main Dome and no reason for it not to be mineralised.

Years and years are in front of us with the Telfer Mine Life.

Shaun stated that not all the potential targets could be added into the last MRE due to time constraints. They are all not likely to be announced in the next Reserve update in June either, that will be converting the existing Resource announcement from inferred to indicated category. This in itself will be a huge growth announcement

Every quarter now should start seeing these potential targets coming into fruition. The conservative SRK report suggested each one on its own couldn’t keep the plant running, well that might be partly true but the rising gold price has certainly ripped up that statement. Far more ore is now possibly becoming viable for mineralisation.

The West Dome pit where SRK were suggesting only had 400,000 oz now looks to be way more than that, in fact 2.1moz and 61kt cu with 6 years mine life at least. They are still drilling they’re increasing the Indicated category, they will still increasing the Mine Life.

On to the next one, they’re drilling the Main dome pit stage 9, STK are suggesting 200,000oz here, well there’s going to be a lot more tonnage here. In the MRE they’re suggesting not only removing the huge ramp but also expanding the pit southwards.

If you attended my presentations you will have seen the scenario I showed of the MVR reef similar to the west dome underneath the existing pit especially at the north end where the Leaderhill pit fluid pathway comes up. It could put similar tonnages as the West dome stage 2 into play.

I could keep going but this growth story is going to keep growing quarter by quarter over possibly years.

Hi Have Telfer 2028 will be far too early.

Ernest Giles has only had a few dozen drills, it’s going to take a lot of drilling, it’s a company maker. It’s why a lot of us are here we can see the potential. It’s two thirds the length of the M25. This years 6,000m is not going to go far. Most of you don’t realise what could be there, most of Australian gold companies started there.

Havieron was a huge bonus for us and now Telfer is even bigger, EG is going to be even bigger imo.

Hi MH we will only get $21m for O’Callaghans according to SRK consultants valuation.

I think they put a figure of A$1100m to develop it ( that’s from memory but it’s around that figure). It also has a 1.5% Royalty to Newmont.

Concentrate on the West Dome pit and deeps much better value.

Dividend talk at this stage is a ridiculous argument, there’s too many things to pay for at present besides the cost of keeping Telfer going there’s the immediate payment to Newmont of $23m for only using the one train.

There’s Havieron capex to find before any ore comes out.

There’s the capex costs underground for the ESC, WDD and the VSC.

There’s the stripping cost of getting to the ore in Stage 7 and the new Stage 2 under the pit .

Exploration drilling on numerous projects.

You are trying to run before Ggp are earning any FCF.

The debt fascility will be needed even with big revenues, we have a lot to fund.

Most of us here are only here for growth.

Before covid my portfolio was split 50/50 between divi and growth stocks. The best performers were always growth stocks.

I had the same arguments with others on the TW board who only invested in divi stocks, every time TW issued divis the price plummeted it barely budged £2 and always went back down. Ggp has been a godsend for me it is a growth story not a divi stock.

Once the growths gone I shall be elsewhere.

The stockpiles aren’t depleted, it’s the ore being mined in the West Dome pit Stage 8 which was in the 15 month plan.

The stockwork piles contain weaker ore than the pit, we need the new Stage 7 ore to come on line to keep up the ounces and cu tons processed.

The satellite images are showing the ore in the West Dome pit being mined in the 15 month plan as being nearly depleted. I believe the maintenance shutdown is coinciding with bringing Stage 7 on line.

I can’t see it being anything to do with the quarterlies, what isn’t in it will come in the next quarter.

Your map of where investors are shows a great lack of investors up the M6 into Lancs.

I’m baffled by that, I don’t think we’ve had one Lancs investor at any of our meetings, plenty from Yorkshire.

I do have an interest in mining as I worked on removing the Aberfan tip and a few small contracts down some of the pits. That’s where my interest in tailings came from.

Someone on here posted their father was one of the rescuers in that disaster.

I keep a small interest in JLP for that reason.

The recovery factors are very important in my view. Simple reason for that is when weak ore is quoted as having a 75% recovery, the tailings are very weak in minerals. High grade ore in comparison with a 90% recovery, the tailings will be rich in ore.

At some point in the future these maybe a rich source of minerals. My hope is they are not used as stoping backfill.

There has been a big issue of lack of water in Zambia with the Zambezi drying up. Jlp are treating tailings there dumped by miners years ago, so someone in the future may find a way of treating Telfer tailings they are vast quantities. Two and a half km across x 65m deep in tailings 7 holding around 250m tons,

Jlp are tackling heaps of 300kt so much smaller operation.
