Hi Nige I remember the mess politics were in before we joined the EU ie 3 day week, coal miners too strong, unions too strong, long strike in the construction industry, house prices stagnated, butter sugar beef shortages The mess now is far bigger we are trying to come out the EU, the hatred between the 2 camps is appalling ( the uncivil war) TM in normal times could have been a great statesman and been one of the top leaders in the EU She has had 2 votes on her plan and wants a third The people have had 1 vote, the demographic age range was weighted to the over 60s with the youngsters not bothering Times have changed a big % of the elderly are no longer with us, and the youngsters seem to be more astute this time Personally think we should have a new vote but I have my reservations as it could instill civil unrest Perhaps a people's vote in "no confidence in parliament" would be best What a mess

Hi all Just got back from over a week in hospital with appendicitis, so painful Just been catching up with what's happening. Going to reduce my holdings in builders despite the divis too much negativity Hope Nige you can make me change my mind. Would have been better in Britvic and BP for growth Going to leave it a few days to get my head back Certainly can't get far from computer at moment Good luck all

Hi Troubles The Psn divi was too tempting, not normally on my radar. My friend told me about those snags on Tuesday so I didn't know about them, but I have read their Rns news and they have put in place new procedures for quality. This doesn't stop regional management putting pressure on sites to get sales completions. It's always happened, the best site managers are given all the means possible to produce a good product so that they will win the awards If you are thinking of buying a new house I would suggest checking out the site manager, it's a sure measure of what the quality will be

My cousin seems to be very keen now on Ggp Still a bit disappointed in psn performance was hoping to get out of there the end of this week stuck for a bit longer. Hi Nige Aim is not everyone's cup of tea. Ggp I believe is the best one I've ever found but even that has had a roller coaster of a ride, I would for interest read all their news. I been in it a few years now and first bought in around 0.6p. From Prim rns " biggest gold find by any company in living memory" Sirius minerals will need large sums to dig their mine, not for me UKog sat on a lot of oil near Gatwick but again need a lot of cash, been in years at 0.3 Sou been one hell of a ride 4p to £1 and back again. Exploration of gas big risk, so exciting, expecting big news in summer Cerp in Trinidad oil, in doldrums at moment very cheap, when they drill in the south west peninsula this summer I expecting big spike on news. Ceo fantastic As for the builders still not sure about Psn, hearing too many stories of shoddy work even though the new guy said he had introduced new policies to stop it. I should have put it here shall be glad to get out of that one ATB :))

Hi Tom Yes really good news, looks like the sell on news brigade has been short lived. Was going to sell half at 3p but might wait a bit to see how it pans out. Saw someone mentioned 6p this morning. Puts my Psn divi in the shade Best of luck :))

Hi Nige Good to see Tw and Psn recovering today In hindsight the money I invested in Psn would have been better used in Ggp, the rise in them today would have given me 4 times the psn divis but sticking to my rules of 50-50 between growth and divi stocks. I bet Tom is way happy today ATB:))

Hi Nige Ah I understand now Yes Bovis are one to watch at the moment. I used to rate Greg Fitzgerald when he ran Gallifords also Ralph Findlay is non exec director as well from Marstons if memory serves me well, My relation took Greg for lunch apparently, a drive thru McDonald's :))

Hi owls, Nige I can't say I like divi chasing and remember last year when Dividendchaser was doing it and caught out. The Psn divi is too big to ignore so I dived in . I only pay £7.50 costs plus stamp duty which is miniscule to the divi I'm going to get. I hoping the drop will not last long. My only regret at the moment is selling Britvic at 905 , got their divi in Feb and no update till end of May now 927 and still rising. Looking forward to Psn pay day ATB :))

Hi Nige I did look at buying more Psn this morning but decided it was too close to the x divi date bought a few in here instead when I heard Barclays have reduced their target price. They always get it wrong they useless. I'm hoping for the 206 it got to last year in early May, no reason it won't with the size of the divi a big attraction. Biggest problem to hold on for the special or sell just before x divi which is what I did last year with my float ATB :))

Hi Nige I'm impressed with Bovis new boss Greg Fitzgerald he seems to be turning them around from a very poor quality outfit. My relation is full of it when I see him as he is now been promoted to full site manager at 25. Perhaps the new boss at Psn can do the same Of my little shares still think Sou will give me the biggest growth but in doldrums waiting for equipment. If Cerp suddenly announce they've started drilling on the south west peninsula of Trinidad they will rocket, their sp subdued as the market believes they will fund it by share issues, the ceo says not. Ggp seem to be sat on a license in west Australia that contains the highest gold accumulation seen in living lifetime ( not my words see Prim rns) no wonder Tom is spending more time on that board. I'm very enthusiastic about it. Ika solid state batteries are market leaders in this field, probably end up in everyone's house and car ATB:))

Hi Nige, RC I'm not expecting too much of a rise from Psn think sentiment is against it, hope I'm wrong Still keeping to my overall plan of 50% in divis stocks and 50% in growth stocks. My growth stocks seen to be doing better at the moment tripled my profit in Ilika the battery maker and the same with ggp If my Cerp shares go up in the summer it will dwarf all my divis this year, I have hopes For the divis shares after the special x divis not sure whether I will sit tight with Tw till next year ATB:))

Hi Nige Looking at last years Psn chart it did drop on x divi but recovered. I hope it doesn't drop too much this year. I'm not much of a divi chaser but I've done it this year with Psn and also gone into Rio Tinto who are paying out £3.19 divis they have a big license next to GGP in Australia and found big copper reserves. Don't want Tw to rise too much just yet, not until I get back out of Psn ATB:))

Hi johnson Is this a buying opportunity, umm should have waited. Wonder what it will bottom out at. Doesn't seem to have affected the others too much
