Hi Sean I think this share Is way undervalued, and as I said before I believe the special divi is to blame for the chaotic swings in the sp Second point on quality, I keep repeating myself it's the poor designs of all house builders that gives a perception of poor quality. Builders in general are to reliant on sub contractors and for many years have not had adequate training schemes for tradesmen. When I started with Bryant in the mid 70s I was working with Master builders , I couldn't say whether there are still any around but doubt it. Perhaps Ben could enlighten me on present day skills ATB:))

Thanks Nige Having worked at Bryant for a long time they were always renowned for quality, but even then certain sites had problems. There was one site manager that always won the site manager of the year award. How did he do it, well he was given the best tradesmen and the time to do it. His houses were sought after. I used to have a painter with me and he has progressed to running his own sites with Tw . He is becoming the next contender. In my opinion Tw produce the best quality but not at the standard Bryant produced. Psn and Bdev have always lagged behind Quality always pays but good tradesmen can't turn a poor design into a quality product ATB:))

Hi Nige Been out of hospital a few days now seem to be getting better dreading a relapse. You never know what's going to happen in life Persimmon for me ploughing in, was out of character, wasn't worth it now stuck and I'm not keen on them. I've still got an issue with new house designs, I think they are dreadful at the mo. These 3 storey estates on green fields look like slums of the future I'm quite happy with my Aim investments I've learnt not to hang around take profits where possible Was reading about the Sirius Mineral mine in the North York Moors. My friend has invested heavy in them but as far as I'm concerned the funding for the U.K.s longest tunnel is too large, maybe when it's finished I will get in, huge money to be made from the potash ATB:))

Hi Nige Glad to see your enthusiasm is not wavering, mine is slipping a bit with builders after ploughing into Persimmon I've been doing a lot of research this week only one share is grabbing my attention at the moment Cerp quarterly update is to be announced this week and has been having a strong build up to it from a loyal shareholder base I've been mulling over what to do with my persimmon divis and originally was going to put in Tw for the special but had second thoughts. I put it into cerp at 3.89p if it gets to 4.25p I would have achieved the same as the special divi here There is a risk that the sell on news brigade will happen but there is a strong upward momentum at the moment and also the risk of Tw sp dropping on x divi date is huge ATB:))

Hi Davielad The Right wing of the Tory party have created a Nationalistic fervour in the country. The anger in people's hearts is very disturbing, in fact the anger is a lot worse than before we joined the EU when the miners strikes caused the 3 day week and power shortage blackouts. Hi thechancers I'm invested in PRD to, not to keen on the Irish license though after being burnt by PVR did alright with Lansdowne though. There seem to be to many dusters in Ireland exploration, that doesn't happen very often in Trinidad PRD Moroccan asset has a long way to go yet to get off and running PRD project in Innis Trinity gives Cerp a free carry on the co2 operations After Cerps acquisition of Steeldrum last year they have so many options to chose from to increase production. The momentum is starting to build. PRD could join this momentum by joint venturing with Cerp if they would want to enter into a deal. IMO

I have always believed this share should be around the £2.50 to 3.00 range but on current form it can't get passed the 2.10-2.20 high price and with the special divi will drop back to the 1.76-1.86 range My hopes would be to change the divis to quarterly payments, the sp would be less volatile and a more sustained growth would occur. The markets would rerate it less of a high risk I can't see the Board fulfilling my hopes What's going to happen when the special divi is no longer sustainable? Probably not in the next few years Let's hope for another good rise today ATB:))

Cerp as operators are carrying out works on Innis Trinity such as well stimulations, well reactivation, pumps and optimisations of assets with the Goudron field. I know Predator are paying for the co2 works , but are they paying towards the cost of these other works? I've been reading the Rns news but can't see it

Hi Stach I'm not sure about 2 wells simultaneously but maybe one following the other. What about reentering the FRM1 well on Cedros to get at that 50' pay zone. Not sure if that's possible but would be cheaper than drilling a new one. Innis Trinity is where the production increase will occur in my opinion as on the web site it states "active joint inventory optimisation to fast track positive gains and reduce incremental costs"

Hi Tom Sorry to talk about my inside but I've not had it out yet been on antibiotics for 3 weeks. It's affected my gallbladder I have loads of admiration for the nurses who are under great stress at the moment with Jeremy hunt changing their contracts. They have to do 16 x 12 hour shifts a month then do another one with no extra pay and they have to pay for parking. No wonder they all want to get out I was lying next to a Bernard Manning lookalike with the same views is that what Brexit is turning people into :((

I'm feeling far more optimistic after that tweet of a good update. I wouldn't have thought they would have told us when the update was going to happen if it wasn't good news

Hi Nige, Tom Can't say I've enjoyed the last 3 weeks in and out of hospital with appendicitis, most painful experience I've been through Been trying to catch up with what's been happening Tw don't seem to have moved much, PSN very disappointing Will have to stop switching my shares around Britvic and Bp way above what I sold them for Not going to do anything till I feel a bit better but I am feeling negative about builders too much downward news, hopefully the trading statement around the 26th Apr will help me change my mind Over at Cerp things are buzzing with the quarterly update due anytime soon ATB :))

Hi Owls My point on not letting older people vote in a referendum is that it won't affect most of us It's going to take 10 years or more to unravel Everyone needs to take a deep breath and try to heal this Ununited Kingdom, let's have no more ranting either way and get back to Tw issues ATB:))

There is a lot more sense on this board today than from politicians I know it's not democratic but at the referendum I wrote on here that the over 65s shouldn't have had the vote because it won't affect us. Even if her deal is passed it will take another 10 years to unravel One old friend of ours whose 96 voted leave because of what the Germans did in the war, she has changed her mind since Regarding the media the BBC and Nick Robinson did some programmes really slamming the EU and made it look scary. There wasn't any programmes of note telling us what the EU actually accomplished My daughter's coming in a bit she been protesting in London yesterday, I want to find my ear plugs before she comes so I'm off ATB:))
