From my earlier post, AXS produce Accoya wood which is made from the Radiata pine of New Zealand. Produced when the pine is treated by acetation (acetic acid). Strong as teak , water resistant, rot and fungal resistant. Uses include decking, windows, doors, cladding, bridges and beams. Lightweight, can be machine cut, shrink resistant.
Sounds like the material for this century to replace plastic fascias and windows
Demand is greater than supply so price is rising
