The daughter in law said I thought we were just going to decorate :)) when we took the laminate up there was only damp rubbish underneath now dug out 400mm Looks like the market getting a good pick me up at the moment with good trading statements from a few of my shares Surprised to see Ggp lower after that Rns , sell on news brigade, might top up again. Decided to sell my Marstons at a loss but had the divi , can't see it going anywhere and put into ggp which is going places ATB :))

Hi Tom Been working at my sons house digging out his dining room floor. Old house damp problems. I can't get over the bad state of the roads travelling through Cricklade to Swindon passed that huge Tw site. The dry weather last year started the verges spreading and subsiding . Now with the recent snow melt the Thames is starting to flood and huge cracks are appearing on long stretches of country roads. Dread to think what the bill is going to be. Oh well off to Swindon again hope the share price does hit 170 today and stays there. Really pleased with Britvic sp performance ATB :))

There will be a lot more happening away from the SWP this quarter. Trinity Innis - Predator CO2 equipment due end of Jan Snowcap - works to prevent water ingress on snowcap1. Snowcap2 workover and progress on next drill position Goudron - 2 water injection wells now pumping water into the reservoirs Certification on the Cerp owned rig Additional missed pays and workovers Road repairs There should certainly be a lot more news by the next up date. Hi Wigan, Nige Sounds good to me, tempting me to add more. Can't see the Brexit business ending anytime soon, still got difficult trade talks next. What a sorry mess , what an embarrassment for our nation. What have we done to our kids futures agh, fed up with it.

It's been nearly 8 years since I first invested here. I've always believed these assets will come good. The previous management weren't up to it in my opinion. LK is more than capable to take this company to another level. If a company called Accys can make hardwood from pine trees I'm sure LK has an easier task to get oil out of the ground :))

This is going to be an exciting quarter. From the last update progress on the new and old assets didn't get going till the last week in Dec there wasn't anytime anyone could make a judgement. There are 4 workover rigs in action The SWP will be progressing :- Bonasse work overs and steam injection trials, shallow drill targets Icacos additional pay targets to go for, work overs South Erin work overs , additional shallow drill targets Yes the SWP has started maybe in a small way but bringing in the money to fund more activities

Good to see the share price strengthening with brokers rating this a buy and targets firming around 210 This is nothing new though to holders on here. After nearly 3 years of being the best yielding stock on the FTSE the price is still very low. Last week in Feb we should know what this years divi will be. From the Capital Markets Day last May the Final and interim divis will be increased this year and the special held . I'm hoping for 3p plus in May any higher should propel it over £2 in my opinion. As the price rises the yield % will drop and look more sustainable , the risk rating should be less ATB :))

Morning all As far as I know it's the same Nano Personally pleased the nuclear projects are not progressing. The way forward is to change the building regs and make all new buildings self sufficient in power. Solar panels on roofs and battery storage systems With cars , hydrogen Is the way forward not electric nil pollution, check out ITM Power, Toyota & Shell getting into hydrogen big time Completely fed up with Brexit lets have a people's vote on no confidence vote in Parliament and let the Queen decide :))

Hi Nige I've been doing a lot of research into your company Nano and I've found they are competitors with my IKA in micro batteries. Nano are making mini lithium ion liquid batteries whereas IKA are building Stereax mini solid state batteries with lithium ion but no liquid. IKA batteries are being used in implants in the body but Nano can't be inserted because of the liquid. IKA are developing a Stereax for cars and house electric storage solutions. Very good presentation from Nov on their web site and a real rampy piece on Stock gumshoe.com - the quantum glass battery Sorry for being off topic for those not interested but this is the future tech everything we have will change with this development and it's from Southampton what's not to like :)) Lets Hope for another solid week from Tw

Hi troubles I'm really not a political follower of any cause but anything to help the planet survive must be on most people's minds. I can't see the momentum of building on green fields diminishing anytime soon but a new direction is needed. With the demise of the HighStreet and town centres, incentives should be on hand to bring back people to live there. Have a good day all sun shining :))

Hi Seingred Hope you get on with it ok and report back to us I've been looking at divi stocks and still can't find anything that compares to Tw. After seeing the reports on the Greenland ice sheet melting, ethically this isn't the sector to be in that's 60% of my portfolio with my oil shares Short term profits are not ethical and no good for the planet I am diversifying a bit and slowly increasing my ethical long term shares. Such as hydrogen with ITM, battery storage with Ilika Long term I would like to see a change in the building regs to make every new building 90% self sufficient in energy and less use of plastics, it can be done. That's my thought for the day :))

Hi troubles Not sure what smell it has but it can be sealed or over painted. The Arnold Laver timber company supply it. Regarding AXS I'm staying on the sidelines for a while. Volumes are very low not liquid enough for me but this product looks impressive and expect we will here more of it. There are a lot of license discussions going on and if they materialise could propel the sp north. Look at www.ii.co.uk for their views on 4 stocks to watch Good Luck :))

Hi Seingred Hope you feel more confident about Tw now the sp has returned to more normal levels. I'm more comfortable with it and looking forward to the divis. Regarding AXS the product looks impressive and from a builder's point of view doesn't warp , shrink and can be machine cut. My lad is going to have his large conservatory taken down and a smaller one in its place and I asked him what is he going to put on the existing floor. I think I know that now :))

From my earlier post, AXS produce Accoya wood which is made from the Radiata pine of New Zealand. Produced when the pine is treated by acetation (acetic acid). Strong as teak , water resistant, rot and fungal resistant. Uses include decking, windows, doors, cladding, bridges and beams. Lightweight, can be machine cut, shrink resistant. Sounds like the material for this century to replace plastic fascias and windows Demand is greater than supply so price is rising

Hi Troubles I agree with you Palm oil trees are being planted so fast that vast amounts of SE Asia rain forests are disappearing and ending up in Japanese homes. They mad on hardwoods.

I like researching companies with new innovations especially linked with construction. Last year I came across a Dutch firm AXS they have a process that turns softwood into a type of hardwood with 50 years of external life. Now building a new factory in UK to produce a MDF product with the same process. Last week Interactive Investors have tipped them for this year as one to watch on AIM. I keep an eye on them but they are not very liquid, trading at a 52 week high. I've not invested yet and might not but find them interesting will it save the rain forests I certainly hope so

Morning all Like your figures Nige but I think I will remain cautious for the time being. I don't believe Brexit will effect the price anymore than it already has. The uncertainty is still the right to buy scheme which is propping up the market. I would like to see it get to £2 although I'm not intending to sell any , just sitting it out for the next round of divis
