Hi Mr Magoo Yes fully funded with 2.6m in the bank. With the amount of activity growing on the 6 fields for the next 6 months being funded by cash flow I would expect that drilling fund to increase considerably. Bonasse, Icacos and South Erin are all part of the SWP and shallow drilling is planned for this half year. I personally think shares will be issued to the drilling contractors, I hope not but expecting it. My other thought is that the SWP Api is in the mid 20s , co2 injection works best on lower grade oil, so will Predator get involved, maybe in the future. Goudron is still very important with its high grade oil. ATB :))

Interesting that BP this have found 2 discoveries in the Gulf of Mexico one at 1billion barrels reserve and the other 400m where they are hoping for 38,000 bopd. 400m that's sounds familiar :))

At least that bad weather has gone in Trinidad and now it's the dry season till May. Forecast is 31C and sunny spells for the next 10 days. 4 workover rigs, additional well for waterflood, Co2 injection, steam injection, snowcap2 to come on line , south Erin 5 to come on line, drilling in Bonasse to start, icacos workovers, Goudron extra initial 70bopd from a missed pay section This next quarter should turn out to be a stunner, what's not to like, even the sun is shining, well not here anyway :))

Hi in4 Well put. Predator are taking all the risks with the CO2 injections, have finished their assessments of the benefits and are keen to proceed and CO2 is freely available in Trinidad. They have stated that the costs will be a lot lower than forecasted. Ross needs to go and deramp there rather than here, as we've no costs involved. Look at the Carbon Engineering web site, very interesting on CO2 on site production Regarding the Lind facility ( if he's still going on about that) he must be worried about his commission. I'm not in favour of a divis cut I would like more if honest but share growth is the ultimate profit maker The centre article in the business Times yesterday showed the 10 best and 10 worst performers last year and Tw were in the latter citing the high divis It's only my opinion but if the special was trimmed a bit it should help the growth.

Hi WY The markets don't like special divis , if they are maintained they will suppress the sp, it may rise on the run up to the x divis date then big sell off again. If there is a cut the markets will see it as less of a risk so buy in and the sp should rise to where I believe it should be at about 2.50 with no major sell off I've no intention of selling my main holding but have a small pot to dip in and out of. I''ve probably got it all wrong but biggest thing to remember don't put all your eggs in one basket spread it around All the best :))

Hope everyone has had a good time. As I have mentioned before I am not expecting any improvement from the Goudron field this last quarter apart from increased pressures in the water flood. The field has over 100m barrels of reserves to aim for so the water flood will start to produce sometime this year Cerps efforts in the next few months will be on the successful integration of Steeldrum and targeting the most cash beneficial targets at the lowest cost. LK has 8 targets to chose from. I think we will see a lot more progress this coming quarter and even more in the second. Regarding M&A I can't see the major one happening in the first half but some of the smaller ones might happen This year PRD will use their option to gain innis trinity. The Ceo there is on a mission to grow the company. Have a great year all :))

Hope everyone has had a good time I just been looking at my portfolio and share my thoughts on the coming year TW update in Feb will tell us what they intend to do with the divis, whether to keep it at this high level or reduce them to a more sustainable level. The share price in my view won't return to £2 unless they cut the divis. I hope they don't but expect they will. My pick for this year is ITM power. Their competitor has just been taken over by Airliquide and Japan Olympics to be all about hydrogen. Takeover target? Greatland gold- more drill results expected next couple of months, sale of huge find or company on the cards. Yippee Have a great year and keep smiling :))

Exploration well la-109 is still being planned but I can't see this happening yet unless there is a farmout. The new contract with ENEO will bring in the funds eventually but will probably be used to reduce the debt. They are still pursuing the insurance claim of £24.5m from the la-108 well, if this comes in wow this will give them some options. When Matanda comes in they will have an obligation to spend £11.5m on new development there. They have no new credit facility available and are in the middle of a payment holiday on their loan with just interest payments being paid. The new CNG partnering should enhance the revenues coming in while the ENEO revenues get back to normal I believe the sp will keep fluctuating and growing hopefully while the revenues get back to where they were in 2017 I'm trying to keep a level head here but hoping for a great 2019

I've always believed Cameroon could be a power hub for central Africa. For that though the Govt needs to be more stable and consistent, I've not witnessed that yet. Regarding VOG I'm glad to see the organic growth continuing, not too sure about the exploration side, I would like to hear more about what is happening there if big deals are coming

Hi Mrjones Do you really think VOG will get to a £1 . Been here a long time my average is over 80p cos of the earlier consolidation. Not put too much in to it though luckily. Was thinking of chucking the towel in but decided to keep holding and now glad to see it rising I've always liked the model here but always been wary of the Bod/govt. Do you know of any reason I should change my mind on that? Would be interested to hear yours and others views ATB :))

Well that's summed up this share well and truly. What a terrible year to be invested in Marstons at a high of around 118p at the last agm to now at low 90s Dividend cut, share price decimation, food& drink prices rocketed, more debt, more new builds. Now no lunch or cheap beer Why am I still invested here Fairly obvious they are out of tune with their shareholder base Bringing the meeting forward to early morning will deter numbers attending ie less flack That to me is underhand and reminds me of the 2016 Carillion agm tea and biscuits Nothing in this share for me now, except I'm on a loser if I sell at these prices Ralph's plans are certainly in tatters as there has definitely been no shareholder benefit I'm going to send him an e mail and would like to suggest everyone else does the same

Battery technology Is moving on at a pace. One of the major car makers possibly Toyota are developing a roll in roll out where the old battery is pushed out and a new one slots in automatic. I've invested in a little company called Ilika which are making batteries as slim discs and can be multi stacked. Petrol engines will be here still for a few more years, why can't the manufacturers /scientists design a more efficient exhaust system to reduce emissions even further

I can only compare this model with Bryant Construction where I worked for a long time. The Group used the construction division like a "bank", payments from contracts were coming in regularly/monthly to fund the Homes divisions costs leaving the Homes profits as profits. Also covered the Head Office costs. Not all contracts were on 2% margins some were very very lucrative When Taylor Woodrow took over Bryant they didn't realise how big the construction side was, after just getting rid of their own division they now had another one. They were astounded at some of the profit margins and kept it going till selling to Vinci The losses can offset the tax take The construction income normally smoother out boom and bust of the housing sector In my opinion by experience it is a good model if the estimating side is good enough to reduce the risks
