I would research the term arcuate zone to understand what that could mean.
In the Rns it was the first time I've seen it used.
In simplistic terms it's like the Atlantic Ridge but smaller where the plates have pulled apart allowing water to get into the fault line and meeting the heat of the inner layers. This causes hydrothermal flows bringing breccias to the surface and with it all the precious metals that were drawn down to the core when the earth was formed.
Other movements forcing the plates together have caused folding along this thermal fault line
Papua New Guinea and British Columbia have arcuate zones. PNG has 50% of the known gold resources (hopefully not for much longer )
Havieron arcuate zone could run for miles joining up with other similar geophysics:))

Over the weekend I would research what an arcuate zone is, it could go on for miles. I've put no limit sell on at the moment.

You don't necessarily need deep sections of gross or net oil pays to produce a good flow rate it's all about pressures and permeability. The small sections have been mentioned as good sandstones but all depends how fractured they are and Darcy of more than 1
If the flows are good there maybe no need to do more testing because of the updip forcing the oil upwards.
The updip is the difference between Clove and Saffron, Clove is outside of the updip and wouldn't have given the same info on pressures and may have needed steam EOR

The 3D survey would have picked up reflections of a possible oil level, in this case 3 levels but could not identify the depth of said packages which would normally be achieved with the downhole logging tools.
In the Lower Cruse the geology was too unstable to risk a logging tool and had to be done after the casing was in which apparently gave no information on depths of oil or presence of any water.
Airing on the cautious side they are testing the small depths they know.
What they don't know is whether it's gas,oil or water.
As Garnheim pointed out gas could be trapped at the top layer then the oil and water at the bottom or it could be a water pressured reservoi with water pushing the oil upwards.
I personally hope it's the gas situation as it can be reinjected into the oil allowing the gas oil to flow more freely and upto 30% max could be retrieved instead of 20% max

At this point in time no one knows what the test will show although Leo and co will have a good idea what to expect.

They did take half their salary in shares and shareholders paid for it by diluting us.
They are not really in alignment with us as we paid for those shares and they have all the knowledge. They have also taken their salaries in cash now just when finances are tight.

It would help the confidence in the sp if the Board would start buying. I can't believe we are still in a closed period, I know the results are due soon. One of my other shares a non exec has bought this morning only 100,000 and their expecting news but the share price has risen to new highs.
Just a small amount of buying from Leo and co would give us all confidence or should I say give us our confidence back

Thanks for that.
The fact about Saffron is it's ready for testing/production any extra costs have been used to get it from an exploration/pilot well to a production ready well.
The planned programme of works on the presentation clearly shows production from Saffron in the Summer and Cerp must have known why it would take that long.
I've posted many times that this will be a financially difficult period until production at Saffron begins.
I never expected that the news flow would dry up and the news given has little substance.

It is only my opinion that the figures don't stack up financially enough to have drilled Clove first.
What benefit would it have given us now at this point. We'd have $400k less and be unable to drill Saffron through lack of funds
Clove would probably only have produced 50bopd if that, $2,500 a day revenue less infrastructure costs.
Please keep to the reality like you normally do.
I'm struggling to stay here, if it wasn't for Peter I'd be gone and he needs everyone's support right now

To me Clove is immaterial the target is just not a financial option. A target of 170,000 barrels target is just not big enough,at the best that's only 35,000 recoverable and in the sands of the Upper Cruse will be difficult to get out with depletion rates.
Your opinions are valid but more realism would be helpful as posters are very down at the moment

Would take ages getting the outlay back with Clove.
It's quite obvious Saffron is a company maker and they are sure it's a success
Clove will not attract any joint ventures but Saffron will

I wish posters refrain from criticising Leo.
I believe Leo doesn't know how to handle a mass of moaning posters he's just getting on with the job. I believe that's also true of the advisors.
Leo has run a multi billion pound operation but that would only have had a few investors and he probably wanted institutional investors on board with Cerp cos that's what he's comfortable with. Boy has that backfired with Schroders selling out.
The news flow from the company is on the poor side but I would still rather have Leo in charge and no one else
To compare him with the GKP boss from someone today was outrageous in my view.

Cerp Nav value at the moment is the only positive they've got it's keeping around this level.
I'm waiting impatiently for some sort of news and have been selling some to put into Ggp much better prospects of getting my investments back.
This is my last investment in oil, there are better prospects elsewhere with potential growth. Hydrogen being the best

You've missed the point of this well, it's all about proving the concept of the SWP in order to fascilitate a farm out.
The increase in reserves for the company will probably double if not more, increasing the Nav value and therefore make borrowing cheaper and easier.
The geology of the Lower Cruse is very unstable taking oil out to quick will compromise it.

Cwr and Itm in same market roughly same size. Itm have more shares in issue after rights issue when Linde bought 20% and that must put them favourites to grow . Also big contracts with Shell
Another company is AFC slightly different product not on an upward trajectory like the other 2
All my research has gone into Itm almost 12 months worth, very excited what they are doing at mo, big upside when Linde contracts start.

I would dearly love Tw to take on a green initiative fairly quickly. Hydrogen boilers would be a start but bit early though.

Boris needs to bring back those subsidies for the solar panels pretty quickly to charge all these electric cars will be needing. Still think hydrogen will supersede electric far cleaner

I believe it's a totally different boiler to what you will have at the moment so when it needs replacing they would just swap it over.
I think there is a photo on their web site
My little boiler company Insp are further advanced.
Looking good for all hydrogen makers, there's 2 on Aim ITM being one

Worcester Bosch announced they have produced a prototype boiler that can run on natural gas or hydrogen.
It means that old installations can still be maintained just the boilers need to be replaced. The transition should be a smooth transition for customers and installers.

Hydrogen is coming to our homes maybe quicker than Boris's 2035
