I acquired my holdings in TW through the acquisition of Bryant by Taylor Woodrow @£2.04 now they are around 2.16, that's hardly a stunning growth story in nearly 20 years. Loads of stocks around that time are no way near what they were i.e. capita, stagecoach, Lloyd, Bp, Barclays, Marstons. I could go on.
There are the exceptions Next,Croda, Victrex, Psn
Generally if you hold a share too long you will lose out.

For a similar rise in Tw I would be looking for £14

I don't think VSA are unrealistic, it all depends what they include and how far forward in time they've added.
It does look like both Finncap and VSA are out of date even after 3 months, i.e. Share issues and differences with Cerps working plans
Whatever happens there's a lot happening this year, I just hope the finances can keep up

Just looking at Finncaps target breakdown from 4th Oct
The 4.9p for the main producing assets is overpriced now due to the number of shares increasing so 3.3p is probably fair.
The contingent values to me are never priced into a share price so I'm putting them to one side.
Saffron risked 2.9p I'm taking this to be before the reserves/asset are confirmed.
Saffron unrisked 4.4p after conformation of assets
Total = 10.6p

Further along the chart they have allowed for a 20m target
2p risked
11p unrisked

What happens then if the reserves at Saffron match the 20m figures, surely the unrisked figures would increase for Saffron?
That's 10-16p sp by year end in my view.
Pure speculation on my part based on brokers figures , but doesn't include Innis or Suriname.

I think the days of big companies taking over smaller ones has gone but possible.
The biggest example of that was Sound everyone was expecting that and it didn't happen, the price plummeted but still sat on big assets, probably bigger than here.
Big companies will buy assets or wait till smaller companies can't maintain the license and pounce cheaply. They want smaller companies to take the risks and find the assets

As I pointed out I was stirring it only because of that pointless poster.
I have pointed out before to get out 11.5m barrels in say 10 years will take more wells. The company knows this as the forecasts for capex spend will start rising rapidly.
This well is a springboard for the SWP, I can see a joint venture looming, it's too big for Cerp on its own.
The bigger Saffron is, the higher the price of a joint venture

Well done on your investments. Looks like this share might not retrace this year.
Ggp rise hasn't started yet, 30th Jan may see a spike.
I done ok with ITM last month 6x my original stake, well happy I'm expecting it to keep growing but slower . This is what I'm expecting with Ggp but only my opinion.

11.5m recoverable barrels x $50 revenue to Cerp =$575,000,000 possible revenues

Innis Trinity could be worth :-
9m recoverable reserves x $30 =$270,000,000 divided in half with Prd =$135,000,000

It's time consuming getting it right, they may leave some net oil pay for a later date and concentrate on the best target. They will let it flow on it's own initially and maybe shut it down to see how long the pressure build up takes to get back to its original level.
This may take time to get it right don't expect a short time frame.
On a big pay well I've known 1 billion cu ft of gas burnt off on test and 9 months to get the pressure back.
I'm not suggesting that will happen here but the original plans were to get Saffron on stream mid year

There not samples like in mining where they go to a lab
The data they have is being examined and the relevant information will determine where the tests will be carried out down hole. A blast string will be inserted and holes made in the casings. Then the testing can start.
The experts will be looking for hydrocarbon concentrations and the porosity amongst other things
It's a complicated science.

Offshore and onshore oilfields in Suriname are 2 totallly different fields. The older onshore oilfield was being produced way before Africa split away from South America.
The younger offshore fields were produced while Africa was moving away, in the shallow waters between the 2 continents. Half of the field moved with Africa the stayed around Guyana/Suriname.
Cerp's field is onshore based on the older oil. This field has experienced far more geological movements than the offshore oil, because of this the reservoirs are sporadic in nature with many folds, traps, canyons,deposition and volcanic movements.
With sparse 2D surveys and no 3D or aerial there will be a lot to do to find the reservoirs, although historical drilling will give Cerp a lot of useful info and the well workovers will find and produce some oil.
There should be a lot of scope for increasing the reserves base there.

Bytheway there are rumours of PG of Prd taking over as Sound chief, wouldn't surprise me as he had the licence before Sou had it, or a merger between them

The casing is inserted to keep the hole clean after the fluids are removed and to enable the concrete grout to strengthen the sides.
The blast string will be inserted and holes formed through the casing and grout to allow the oil in and probably sand with it.
This is where the work over rigs are used when there's too much sand build up
