Thanks for posting that link I've had a chance to read it again and look at the method.
Looks like the pilot hole 8.5" was halted early on because of the condition of the hole and hydrocarbons were encountered from 500' to 1970'
A decision was made to widen the hole and insert a 13.5" case down to just above the 500' mark. The well was then drilled down to the 2500' mark.
A Quad combo logging tool was used down to the base of the oil shows at 1900'.
This tool is designed by Schlumberger and is a Thru-bit going inside the drill string and is 1 length
The Platform Express logging tool also goes in the drill string but is a lot lighter and 3x faster and gives a more detailed analysis combined with the quad combo.
This was stopped at the 2500' due to the worsening conditions of the hole and the hole was cased. The drill continued as an 8.5" hole down to total depth of 4634'

That web site is old stuff, Anglo American have put an offer in of 5.5p which has been accepted as far as I know and there seems no likely hood of a counter bid.
I told my friend last year who had bought in to get out at 27p, not sure whether he did he went quiet.
I bought in before the permission was granted and sold out on achieving it. I couldn't see how a small company could possibly fund.
Since then a rival potash firm has stated they believe the size of the potash market for the sales SXX require isn't there.

Hi Rogueriver I take your point about this being for TW news but most of the year we have no news and this board would go very quiet without the banter .
I've made some profits by listening to others here.

Went to Upton yesterday for a lunch in a pub by the River Severn, very unnerving when a boat comes passed higher than where we were. The river is still rising , roads not cut off yet, lets hope for a dry week

I'm not going to follow you into Prd, I've lost money with oil companies in Morocco and Ireland so don't want to there again.
Moroccan Tagi sands can be very with a Darcy value less than 1, gas may not flow.

If you're young enough investing in hydrogen or platinum must be the thing to add to your pension pot
ITM are one of the leaders, I don't know much about Nel
Jlp for platinum. Twice as much goes into a hydrogen car than a diesel

Looks different to me from last time I looked. Most of the information on the operation pages is still out of date and lacking any substance.
The Innis page is quoting different reserve figures from Predators site .
If Cerp figures are correct for Innis it could be disappointing but there is a lot more information on Prd site I'm tending towards them

The P50 estimated recoverable reserves stand at the moment at 11.5m barrels, they are not included in the assets.
Could these reserves be more than the estimate.
Leo said the drill was very lively, the pilot well was redrilled to a much wider diameter and cased for production for 3 layers . In itself an unusual action.
The Upper and Middle Cruse layers or any other layers were not on the estimate and a wild guesstimate of 3-5m could be there in my opinion hopefully more.
The Lower Cruse was the main target.
If you look at the SWP presentation map showing to the north where the water cut is, then move to Saffron in the red area where the oil is. Now look at P90 contour, Saffron is in the middle of the P90.
The chances are in favour of the P50 average sum of 77m being exceeded, therefore increasing the recoverable barrels.
With the average being 11.5m and the upper levels having 3-5m the Lower Cruse would need to increase by 3-5m to reach 20m recoverable reserves

These are my own thoughts not the company and my stance on this share at the moment is a hold although I had a small top up recently.

There is a similarity with Cerp and ITM, that is ITM we're in the doldrums and went from 40 down to 20p with lots of potential. The last 6 months has seen a buy in by the German company Linde who bought out BOC (British Oxygen Co), so from 20 to 125 wow.
Why the similarity well Cerp are meandering from one upset to the next but they've probably just proved up their prize asset if it gets to anywhere near the 20m recoverable reserves the majors will be after it. A joint venture would propel the sp.
If it doesn't happen with Saffron it certainly will with one of the larger targets.
In my opinion it's not one to sell.
I can't see us being bought out the majors want the small companies to take the risks and they certainly won't want the likes of Goudron or Innis

When the Market can't see the potential that's the time to buy.
What is our potential-
Good flow rates at Saffron around 200 won't necessarily lift the sp on it's own but it may spike. The $50 revenue per barrel will help
Our oil reserve asset as a group will double over night with Saffron at 11.5m barrels anymore should also spike the price
Moving the recoverable reserves from P50 to P2 or P3 category on confirmation will be the biggest mover, increasing the NAV value of the company considerably.
The Market won't be able to ignore the NAV value.
Then there is Innis and Suriname to come

hi Garnheim I saw the potential some time back, hydrogen is the future I didn't really think I would see it in my lifetime, but it like I might
They are pumping 20% into the gas grid around Keele, it's the highest in Europe
Italy 10%, Netherlands 15% and Germany 17%
Check out the new Toyota Mirai hydrogen car and how to fill it up very interesting

Is the future deal between Cerp and Prd a good one?
Prd will pay Cerp $4.2m!
Extraction rates are forecasted to be 350bopd at $30 revenue on $60 wti price would give revenues of $3.8m per annum less costs of $10 per barrel .
At say 900,000 recoverable barrels it will take less than 7 years.
After buying and costs there's $20m to be gained
So far the deal looks ok
On the rest of Innis there's 8m recoverable reserves = $240,000,000 for about 50 years at 350pd
Now not looking so good.
$4.2m spent on another SWP Saffron like well with 20m recoverable at 350pd would yield $6.4m pa

My preference would be to keep half of Innis

There are 4 wells on block AT-4 :-
At-13, At-4 will be injected continuously with 24.5 tons of CO2
At-5x and At-12 will be initially be injection wells.
The idea is to get the CO2 to mix with the fluids oil and water and separate them into miscible and immiscible fluids and increase the pressures to their original state.
When the pressures required have been reached the wells 5x and 12 will be reversed and become producers.
The Reservoir Engineering Assessment has estimated the initial injection rates can be reduced to make the costs per barrel cheaper.
Production will be from 5 production Herrara sands 1 to 5, because of the continuous CO2 injection the forecasted rate of 350bopd should be maintained with little depletion as seen in these sands previously.
Following the initial trial a CPR is to be commissioned to address the wide historical estimates.
If the initial results are replicated throughout Innis the estimated recoverable reserves should be somewhere between 8-15m

I totally agree with you about initially the deal looks good for Cerp but if you read my post from the 8th Jan I've broken it down into stages. When I can get on the computer I will repost it. You may then agree with me or not as the case maybe
