Probably as share holders, people contacting VAL can urge directors to reduce their monthly salary to maximise the available funds and take shares (say at 5p base price) in lieu of their salaries until he deal is signed. This would mean a bit of dilution but hopefully LTH will be happy with that and so will the directors as they would have more incentive.

Closed period is generally 60 days (correct me if I am wrong) prior to any announcement including financial results. So in this case, if the talks are on going then it would be hard to say what is minus 60 days to the announcement unless there is clear steer to get the outcome by certain date which is not the case on most occasions. Though I am not sure if BOD can participate in any placings around this closed period.

Isas, I agree BOD could have done better but this is not the best time to do something. At the end of the day, everyone including BOD have interest in moving this up so that all their share options gain value which would be much much more than their salaries. If people knew the 14 yr history and were unhappy with the BOD, they should have got out by now.. and if they did wait for 14 years, another few months or a years won't make a difference as far as you have trust in your research that their science do hold value. I used to hold GGP and I was not happy with BOD and I am out of it after 4 years.

I agree. This will not be very wise to distract them in their routine work. If people are so annoyed with this, they should just contact VAL as a group and express their disappointment. Trying to corner CEO will not do any good at this point. Most investors don't understand Bio deals are not black and white nor quick. I am sure if VAL wants a deal at throw easy price they would get it in weeks but then it will be same investors complaining. If they are in talks, directors would be in closed period to buy shares. Let them do what they are doing. Completed P2 trials for 2 drugs is very good position and the drugs are not decreasing in value if it takes few more months to get a deal. It like a saving bank account. I do hold just under 1 m shares but I won't approve any action

I am new to this.. what kind of update is expected in near future? As per video interview of CEO, they system will be commercialised by Dec 18.. is something expected in between?

There would be no pharma company making that statement (failed P3 trial) to drag sp down.. they will have nightmare to get the drug approved by the regulators if they did that.. Some frustrated guys trying to ramp this up to get out. Their frustration is visble by the number of post the do here everyday

This is going bust as I said when they did placing at 0.1p. Business model is not competitive and I am suprised it had survived over these years as their network is not great either.

with just over a grand of investment.. Found their technology very interesting and this should be the future star if it works. it kills 2 birds with one stone - energy + recylcing

Hello guys, I came across PHE via another board and having looked at some of the RNS I found the work they are doing is quite interesting. I think this definately has future as we need alternative fuel as well as ways to decompose plastic / rubber. I have couple of questions if someone can help answer. 1. How long is it for aystem to start commercialising. Iunderstand that the one installed at Thornton science park is demo system - right? How far are they to generate their own income. 2. How much funding do they have? From RNS it seem they dont have lot of money and they have a raising frequently in past few months. I do understand people might have different views but I would be nice to hear before making an investment. Thanks in advance..

People on this board are still dreaming about positive RNS and 800% life. I think they need to do some research into how BIO's and their approval process works. This is not a mining company when negative result can turn into positive within weeks or blink of an eye. People need to understand even if Japan trials are positive, it will be steep hill to climb to convince the regulators in Japan as well as EU. I think this has levelled out now and there is only one way to go - i.e. down GL

Reading the posts, I dodnt expect it to finish in blue. I am still wondering how long does it take to analyse samples, not more than a week or two I would have thought. I have worked in STL previously where they used to test soil samples for minerals and it didnt took very long.

Why dont LSAI puts out RNS about their clients or deals? TBH I dont know names of any of their clients.. does anyone else know?

I feel if so called deramping is bad then so called ramping is same too. There are people on this board posting 50+ times a day saying 200p +, back to 850p etc etc.. I am very interested to know what do they understand about drug approval process and clinical trials? Look at other companies which have fallen after failed P3 trails or history when people told it was oversold, e.g. Capita, TPOP, CLLN to name the ones I know. They never went to same levels. A good example of Bio with failed P3 trials will be OXB, it never reached to same level (still down 85%) in past decade of where it was before failed trial news..! I would not even suggest people to average down at this point as this is still ramped up at this price. 38M MCAP is high for a bio company with drug in failed P3 trials, ongoing phase II trial and one drug in preclinical stage. It would take years to recover and massive dilutions during this period. VAL has 1 drug completed its P2 trials and 2nd about to complete (2 more compaound in preclinical stage) and look at that MCAP to compare. Ready for this post to be bashed by rampers.. but as I said, how much do you know about drug approval? GLA

Just remember, everything that falls from a height doesnt necessarily bounce back to the same height. Being in Bio industry myself, i cant see how regulators would approve this without proper grilling even if Japan trials are successful and that would have sometime. Look at TPOP, when it fell from over 6p (july 17) to 0.12p, some people thought it was over sell and too cheap at that level. Couple of them even bought around 20% stake at that time but eventually today it is 0.02p. They had massive dilution at 0.10p by II but that is not prevented it from slipping down. All I can say is be careful (only put what you can lose) as the pipeline for FARN is not very strong for near future.. It would take years to recover from hereon and I think only miracle can turn this around in short term.

Itsallamess - rather than researching into my post history, u should have looked into what I said and researched into Nicola's past prediction.. It seems u start bashing everyone to ramp up stocks u are invested... Just to let u know I was invested here for 4 years in Oct 17, if u have read my post history.. and got out with 5 x profit.. I know enough of GGP and shares.. Atleast i am honest to say where I am not holding or I want to get in at lower price unlike many other..! ITs (definately) ALL A MESS with you..!

Itsallamess - I am not invested here as i clarified in first post itself and I am not interested to block my money here for few years right now... i gave my views and the time will prove who is right.. I am not sure how have u judged from my post history about which stocks I am invested in... can you please let me know where u think I am invested.? Mate if people think I am deramping then you are surely ramping it up as you are invested here.. I just posted here as I hold stock in couple of bio's myself and found interested to look into this situation.. In my opinion it would be under 100p in few weeks to come... and I wont jump into it at that level either.. I wish ur predictions are correct for the sake of those invested here ir the gamblers who want to jump in now..

Well.. i know people are optimistic and the price might go up a little next week in anticipation but medium term it will end lower than it is currently.. Do people think the company had just put out the RNS without verifying the result and comparing how different trials are carried out.? If they could find the cause of failure in a weeks time, i bet they would have waited for a week.. People can live in ignorance if they wish..Good luck..

Just came across FARN via ii newsletter and read some post / RNS. I will be very surprised to see if the trial passed in one area (Japan) can be justified if it has previously failed in another area (EU). If that does happen then they will have to work out the reason and justify to the regulators, which won't be an easy task. Further I visited their website and it seems they have only 2 compounds - this one failed in phase III in Europe while the other one is in pre clinical (expected to take few years to commercialize) and therefore I can't see how they would manage without more funds for next few years to follow.. failed phase III trials won't be a quick fix.. Traumakine also has 2nd indication but that's still in phase II. I also don't see the sp going anywhere near 750p at least in next 5 years or so... It is sad for the investors and science that it failed but that is nothing new in Biopharma industry.. I am invested in couple of Biopharma myself and belong to this industry.. Sorry to those who made losses here.. GLA

The lady Nicola had great predictions for VAL earlier in the year but nothing happened and it seems she has now jumped to GGP.. I am out for now but will be looking for get at right price if I get a chance GL to those who believe Nicola..
