Few blue days are required here.. I would have ideally expected 25-30m MCAP prior to announcement of the any deal news and then atleast double up from there on.. That is my opinion based on mcap other similar companies at this stage... I could be wrong as I never expected this to go below 4-5p when it reached 7.5p at the end of last year..!

Apple - these compouds take a lot of effort to develop and bring it to where they are i.e. end of phase II. I wouldn't take any price for it. There aren't 100's of products to sell, to give one at throw away price just for the sake of getting a deal.. VAL will surely look at long term benefit and not just short term appeasement of share holders.

It will take 4 to 6 weeks for analysis as it was mentioned in video interview..

But buy and sell seem other way round.. or was someone trying to short at the rise?

I don't think upfront payment is likely to be more than £50m.. it would expect more like £20-£30m but milestones can be around £500m to £1bn. This is for 1 drug and same for VAL 201 few months after that. Look at deal OXB has recently got for an estimate. Of course there are differences as VAL401 is much advanced than OXB-102 in terms of development and potential sale numbers but then another key factor is current position of the company and VAL is desperate and cash crunched which doesn't help with these negotiations. So based on current shares in issues sp of £1 is achievable...! It all depends on Bods negotiation power. Any pharma looking for this should be slightly confident in VAL401 in terms of clearing P3 as it's know drug with long history.. So all in all, future is bright as far as investors are patient..

This is slowing moving towards 40p in short term and 20p in medium term.. with one product failing the trial and other in early stage of development, this is not going anywhere up north for years to come. Only invest what you can afford to lose as there will be dilutions on the way..

Number of post doesnt determine how good or bad company is.. Huge sells today, but really at this throw away price?

Its amazing how the scenario changes with one RNS.. this company was being bashed until yesterday by everyone and now suddenly everyone is loving them.. predictions have started back again.. As I said, those who hate this BOD can exit now rather than moaning fews week down the line again. Pharma deals take months or sometimes years and you need to be patient with it. To me the risky part of the investment is over in the fact the P2 trials have completed and results are positive. Only the commercial side of news is required but then your investment is not at risk.. there is only one way from here.. Ofcourse there will be little slippage on the way but you need to be patient.. as rampers always say.. Hold for Gold ;)

ROIDSTER - at least some are only arrogant and not abusive like others..

I think they have got the situation under control. They cancelled the placing at last meeting which was a while ago now and haven't called for EGM since to raise the money.. It seems they are not panicing.. but investors are.. I hope there isnt a RNS tomorrow for this now :p

Eccles - some people in here have been burnt today, so ignore them as their frustration is coming out. This is not a grammer class as far as post can be understood. I think 50p is too high as well. Look at the pipeline of this company. I am looking at 10-15 mil MCAP which is being generous. There is no hope for this in short / medium term. Rampers are welcome to bash me for this post.. but as always tome will tell if its honest opinion with facts or deramping for personal gain..

I would guess mcap of 10-15 mil is true value as they dont have strong pipeline either..

Totally agree blanca.. there were few rampers trying to reduce to loss by trying to entice people into this..
