Until billions of shares issued at 0.10p are sold, this is not moving up by a lot. That will take a while, although the volume has been good.

Does anyone know if shorters recieved the profit or was it wall written off for them as well... Just asking for knowledge

I think directors and financial auditor must face tough consequences for this. I think they should set an example to prevent this from happening in future as lot of director are playing out with investors money. Earlier i mentioned about the loss was with quindell 4 years ago, they had similar case when they made up financial figure which were incorrect causing sp to tumble. Then there was a RNS for director purchase which few days later turned out to be a sell before sp tumbled. Would this mean they were in debt when they paid out dividend last July?

Agree with Jambon, even if you had bought on friday instead of selling, they wouldnt have returned your money back as the settlement date was on Tuesday. Pose them this question and get a written response. I am sure there are people who would have bought on Friday, I think i saw few posting here too. I think you should chase them and go to regulator if not settled. these guys lack transparency and play with investors money, if they fail with their tricks then they fob onto the PI. By any chance, did you see your sell appear on trades at the time? I know there was a lot happening with CLLN on Friday.

I had a bit of similar issue with IG a few years ago when the stop loss was not executed at the right time and then later executed at the lowest price for the day. The share had a slide on the news but my stop loss was executed 30 mins after triggering at the lowest spike. the sp recovered after that but they told me that they sold the bulk in auction for all their customers together and paid out average price to everyone. I am not sure how could average price be lowest price of the day. Nothing much happened after the complain and I didnt bother going to FCA at the time. I lost over �2k due to their mess up. They sold it at 18p while the stop loss was trigerred at 30p. I would recommend you to go to FCA. / ombusman. I am sure they are covered by their terms and conditions, but remember T&C are set by them and not necessarily mean they are fair.

It will take months to offload those billions of shares.. i cant see this sp moving a lot even on good news in near future. Same thing is going on in ones of the other shares I am invested in, although there are only few millions to offload there, 2 good RNS and sp is still dragged down :(

I also feel it was all done in haste for some reason. Why didn't they look at option for raising more money through equity, let it be billions of shares when the sp was 200p. At that time this company had good credentials and they would have easily found buyers. Option for equity was there until last day, but probably too late to find the buyer. Govt's logic is difficult to digest as companies and PIs are still left with bad debt in this case.

To be honest, anyone doing their research wouldn't have seen this coming - not best of the best.. If you would have had doubts about CLLN in June 17, then you could have probably not been able to invest in any other stock either. It was considered one of the most secure shares with good dividends and I feel it hard to digest that govt. let it go off so easily as lot of their work was at stake apart from thousands of jobs. This shows nothing is secure, not even FTSE100 ones, forget about AIMS. I was never invested here but was tempted to get in around the first slide at 40-50p. Past history of CLLN was very strong. Luckily by experience of trying to catch the falling knife with Quindell few years ago prevented me from risking. Lot of PIs got poorer with this

So did IG told you that they will close your short position tomorrow and give you 100% profit? Maybe they are adjusting your position against other long position they had. I am not sure how they could close their position without suspension lifted

Although I never traded CLLN, i was following it after my temptation to get in at 42p after initial collapse. Honestly, I never thought govt would let it off so easily even after last friday, not for shareholders but for employees and the impact it can have on the UK govt projects etc. Very unfortunate to see this collapse and this shows that no company is secure however big there are.. this was bad example set by govt too..

What happens to shorters in this case?

I wont be surprised if many lost their life savings here as it was good yielding and considered very stable stock until few months ago..

Remember in 2014 around the same time of the year it rose from 4p to 13p without much news.. you never know

This is not moving as placing at 0.05p is being dumped at 0.1p. Until that dumping is complete, this is not likely to move and big sells would appear as delayed trades. Lot of shares to be dumped and good news wont take it much higger in this case. Exactly same thing happened with VAL last week and th price is still stuck.

A big jump -16% on the close without any news or significant volume.. thats strange
