Exactly. Three times the number of people already employed would be a hell of a lot of new work. The security business is not immune to recession but should hold up.
I expect good news to continue and a rollercoaster ride back up. Board probably wanted £7.50 - £9 a share and TB just would not pay. The Board must believe in the solid foundation of its products and future. Good enough for me.

The IPO was at 250 pence and the SP is still above that. I think I’d be happy with that and their prospects.

Folks, it is just all the cybersecurity companies that are falling at the mo. Do a compare on Sentinel or Crowdstrike their share movements are the same (apart from DARK spike due to bid news).

Weak PIs selling into a weak trading day. Probably Shorters knocking the SP down.

The shares are ex-rights and nil paid shares are trading along with pre existing shares. So, the share price is the current price of all shares. Those not taking the rights will be paid for their rights. The issue for PIs is they rarely have the ability to sell their nil paid shares during the period before they actually receive them.
Will the SP go up or down after everyone has the ability to sell is the big question.

Reduction in shares means a higher dividend yield in future. Simply calculate share number last year to now with the $200 million dividend and the yield now is higher. In future less shares more to remaining investors.

The major Short positions have remained the same now for 5 months. What does this mean?
Probably, the same reason why the trading range is 40 - 60 pence. They are waiting for a reason to add to their Short or to decrease. Therefore, the converse is true for those wanting to invest. There is really nothing of significance either way. It seams a wait and see approach.
The merger is putting investors off with the negative Capricorn chatter.

Well done those who had the balls to buy under 40 pence!
I bought 12,000 at 40.29 pence but didn’t think SP would turn around so quickly, outstanding.

with PIs piling in the MMs are simply stealing your hard earned cash to fill their sell orders. Until they are filled this share is going to 35 pence in my opinion.
However, taking a punt at this point in time can pay off in the long term.
That’s what share trading is about…..winners and losers.

That’s what happens to a share price when there are lot of shares being traded quickly with many sellers and buyers. Old saying “don’t catch a falling knife” springs to mind. I got lucky and sold out at 52.88 pence with a £100 loss purely because of the drop in Darktrace and I wanted to buy more there at £3.34 pence.
I would be wary of buying until things go a bit steadily IMO

Sorry but your calculations are way too simplistic. There is the additional field percentages bought which have legal costs associated just for starters.

Why would debtors pay more for a D4E than the shares are trading at?
Someone has to lose out and you can bet the debtors won’t be in the mood to give PIs more cash. With people tightening their belts cinema will continue to suffer regardless of new films.
Anyone thinking they are going to make it rich here are deluded (except those rampers who got in at 2 pence and sold on the new downturn.
IMHO you are likely bust. The debtors will take over the company stripping off assets to themselves. Investors will get either nothing or close to nothing.

I can’t believe some are wanting the SP to drop to 2 pence so they can average down. Ridiculous. If you truly think that you would sell all invested and then buy back cheaper. Madness!
