Back in early March, after the results, the SP spiked to 550 pence.

We are only at that price, so any premium will be 25 - 35% on 550 Pence.

PS. I sold at 520 in March and bought back at 410 pence :o) at 298 pence was a bit of a sauer taste but happy days now!

Opposition to a potential sale of Darktrace are speaking out over worries that it undervalues the cybersecurity business.. Several bidders are expected to join Thoma Bravo to buy the UK company, with Cisco, Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike among potential candidates.

In my opinion the IPO should have been priced at £3.50 not £2.50 and with the increased customers, revenue and profitability earning potential Darktrace should already be trading at £6.50 with any offer then needed to be 50% higher, so £10 valuation.
Trouble is the Mike Lynch situation and investment houses not getting IT (it).
Thomo Bravo are not stupid and can see the potential to snap up a business on the cheap for probably £6.50 if they are lucky and no other bidders emerge.
Even if they walk interest has re-emerged in the business and we good results any drop back should be limited.

No one will accept a deal below 500 pence a share….FACT

Just because a few shares were sold so employees could cash in and spend some of their gains means nothing.

You can’t predict exactly when or whether a bid for any company will take place, therefore, shares sales take place for reasons other than the expectation of a takeover.

Will need to wait to see if the losers supporters accept the result and no violence erupts. Then maybe shares takeoff in expectation of a deal.

Was automatically executing my SELL order at 428.25 pence as was in the process of cancellation. Luckily dropped back down after reaching 431.60 pence without completion. Decided something is brewing and trade is cancelled.
Let’s hope it proves correct.

They aren’t going to complete by 25th August as recently been buying back much less than 1 million a day and would need to purchase over 1 million a day if $60 million left.

Harbour has purchased 34,213,649 ordinary shares for cancellation for this buyback programme. Circa $140 Million

Tullow Oil talks with Indian groups over Kenyan project will probably lead to a deal and Tullow shares will spike to over 65 pence IMO. This will be great for the enlarged company if merger goes through which I expect it will once CNE shareholders realise just how big this is for Tullow.
Merger considerations will remain as is, no sweetened deal.

My first new purchase of HBR shares since selling some for a tidy profit at 410 pence a while back. Still have a main holding which is currently showing a loss. Was waiting for extra cash and missed the unbelievable 300 price!
Bought 3,000 at 334.41 pence.
