Jiffy, just before I go to bed, I ask this...
If we see a rise of today's magnitude tomorrow, what does that tell us?
If we see an equal reversal tomorrow, what does that tell us?
Not playing games my friend.. a story is to be told about either outcome but either way, I am confident that in 3 years time I will be buying considerably more sovereigns than my mother ever did.

Limits... if you can't fill orders by dropping, you have to trigger limits by raising. If you're forced to raise in order to fill, you create momentum... That momentum covers the higher price paid because if you need 50 million shares you keep buying until you have 100 million. At which point you feed back 50 million (keeping liquidity going and profiting)
This is a positive for PI's because you should be alerted to the fact that a massive investor (or indeed investors) is willing to pay more than current SP because they know that in 3 years time their investment will be worth at least 4 times more!
That's just my opinion, nothing more.
Bear in mind, once the order has been filled stagnation will start to set in (even with Newcrest releases). When that happens, sentiment takes over and the likelihood is that SP will start to drop (perhaps quite quickly).
For long term PI's this is great (no pun intended) news!
An aeroplane doesn't take off after 5 seconds on the runway, it has to gain real momentum, and that takes a bit longer than 5 seconds.... It's going to happen, just be patient.
My mother bought a sovereign many many years ago... when the value fluctuated, did she panic and sell it? Of course not!

Don't get me wrong guys, I am holding here with an average of 29p. Not a major amount as compared to others but even though I am sitting with a £1900 loss I know I have to be patient and in a year or so I will be quids in!

Many moons ago I sat on a board and in all honesty I, as well as others relied upon presentations given by the guy who was paid mega bucks for his experience and nous. I don't believe any of the other members took the info away and had it independently scrutinised... why would they?

Having read through some of the RNS's my focus was drawn to "100% owned" which is mentioned several times. All good I suppose, but in what direction are Greatland going with the 100% owned?
Whilst having no wish to court controversy, I have a few questions that in my mind remain unanswered.
1. Was the hand of Alex Borrelli et al forced by major holders because they felt Gervaise gave away too much to Newcrest in the JV on Havieron?
2. 100% owned.... Greatland will never become miners for obvious reasons.
3. Is Shaun Day building a nice portfolio (potential) with the aim of a bumper day sell off?

Magic, hope so but in all honesty I can see the big players messing us around for some time. Was going to buy in again this morning on a further drop but GH put paid to that. That, I suppose, is my being greedy. I wanted to capitalise on what I know is a winner.

Yes MadMag... forget sentiment. There's billions in the ground, we all know it. It will take perhaps 3 years minimum to start getting it out and selling it. but, if we can wait, we will make massive gains.

For my 50th Birthday my daughters clubbed together to take us all to Vegas.
Main attraction being the rides at the top of the Stratosphere, first off came the X-Scream (yep google it and you'll know what I'm talking about.
Stage 1. I'd listened to the hype and looked at videos on-line and did my research about safety issues etc. I made the decision that yes I would give it a go. (I invested in GGP)
Stage 2. Got seated on the ride and immediately had second thoughts. (Should I have invested in GGP or should I have just stuck with the comfortable yet guaranteed 0.01% interest that my bank was paying?)
Stage 3. We tilted slightly backwards, slight relief as I knew this was going to happen. (GGP SP went up)
Stage 4. We tilted forwards, but again I knew this was going to happen. (GGP SP dropped)
Stage 5. We tilted backwards again smoothly, just a bit further than before. ( GGP SP rose again slightly higher than before)
Stage 6. 7.8 and 9. A repetition of stages 3,4 and 5... I was getting used to this and I'd sussed what was going to happen. (GGP SP was dipping and then rising.. feeling comfortable now)
Stage 10. We tilted forwards and stopped just as I knew we would, but then to my surprise, the pattern wasn't being followed, we didn't begin to tilt backwards, we jolted, yes jolted a couple of feet further forward. I felt uncomfortable! (GGP SP has gone off plan, it's dropped further, this shouldn't be happening)
Stage 11. We tilted backwards but only by a fraction and suddenly jolted forwards. We froze and dropped even further forward, I was really worried, I hear a squealing noise and pretty sure that I can smell burning. (GGP SP is behaving badly, dropping lower than normal)
Stage 12. I am screaming at the top of my voice - stop the fecking ride I want off, there's something wrong! (GGP SP is crashing and I'm crashing with it)
Stage 13, 14, 15 and 16. Unexpected movements on this ride had me vomiting from every orifice because I knew the mechanics had failed and the young idiot sitting at the controls was busy watching tik tok and we were all going to die. (GGP SP looked like it had gone kamikaze)
Stage 17. Ride stopped, we all alighted. Looks of relief, amazement, joy, happiness. What the hell was that.. Euphoria soon followed, What a ride! (GGP SP currently going through the initial stages of 13, 14, 15 and 16 and I know at the end of this ride I shall experience euphoria!)
My point being, someone wants us to crap ourselves and bail. Why? Obvious to me. I shall sit out the ride because I know what the end result will be.
