On 9th March, we will be presented with an RNS announcing a Reverse Stock Split (RSS).
Some on here have suggested 10:1
I think it will be 15:1
Ball park figures - SP £1.20 and Number of shares circa 335m (leaving room for dilution - and there will be dilution).
Once the RSS is done, an application will be made for the ASX (dual) listing.
It would be suicidal to enter the ASX as a "penny stock" if we did, we wouldn't even pop up on the radar when it comes to institutional investors (never mind the mutual).
I think it likely that Newcrest will release updated figures for Havieron on the 27th April and shortly thereafter the Feasibility Study.
Our entry to ASX has to draw attention.
Again, some on here have suggested our SP is being suppressed. I am a proponent of that "theory"
Suppressed by who and why? We all have our own views, which have been expressed over and over.
If Shaun is as good as many of us believe, then he already has Australian Institutions ready to jump on-board and they will have explained their internal policies when taking positions (SP and No. of shares etc.)
It's worth mentioning that Australian taxation and allowances play a role here, the complexities of which are beyond my being able to put into words.

In fairness it could be argued that the 'unlikely scenario' is somewhat weakened by the immediate 2nd scenario. It suggests to me that this isn't an off the cuff response, but more likely a recollection of previous discussions. And as such I'd be minded to think he didn't actually say or indeed infer that, as you suggest, "it's highly unlikely they will sell.
I suppose it boils down to how each of us interpret the words.
Either way I fully concur with the win win scenario.
