Genuity, as a market maker can lap up all the shares they like but are not obliged to sell.
I think Canoccord are stock piling, and will gradually fill orders for institutions lined up by Shaun. (importantly, we must bear in mind that huge orders do not have to be reported to the market until they are 100% filled, Institutional buyer can order 1 billion shares and delay the purchase of the last 360 shares at a rate of 1 share per day - reporting requirement will be in a years time.
For all holders, this is very very good news.

MH01, I agree that such relatively small sales wouldn't tank a share price.
However, some, maybe many, who had not done their due diligence might have seen the act of selling as a signal that something wasn't quite right.
Not me personally.. I am 100% confident in GGP.

Joined relatively very late but super confident with my holding. Put £100 into a savings account tomorrow and if you're lucky, in 2 years time you will probably have £102...

Can't believe there are some beggars on here saying how many millions they have and all along they have been dishonest.
I'm having second thoughts now about those millionaires who spend all day every day, including weekends espousing on this board (and probably other boards).
If I was lucky enough to have their riches I think I might actually have a life! I'd be far too busy with scuba diving, horse riding, clay shooting, yacht racing, travelling to the outers, smoking big fancy cigars, sky diving, taking the helicopter for a spin, dropping a few Tequilas, etc.

Greb, My average is currently just under 28p.
This time around I have been here for a few months. I first bought in at 14p and sold at a loss - I panicked.
I did consider cashing in on my other investments when the lows came but couldn't make the call.
I no longer go with the "pin the tail on the donkey" because I am profiting nicely.
I have studied my aforementioned investments including GGP, and I am absolutely sure in my mind that GGP will provide a stellar return compared to the others.
Why do I "pipe up now" you ask... Because I am so excited by the potential of GGP I just felt I had to share it.
In my view, in 3 years time I will at the very least quadruple my money.
Looked long and hard at everything Shaun Day has done and I'm telling you the guy will do the business.. no doubts there!
As for this being a recovery period... who knows ? I suspect the big guys (who are very greedy)will do their best to knock the SP lower to buy cheaper. Either way, all holders will win.

I shall cash in all my other investments and put them here to drop my average (Down considerable amount but not at all worried)
Last July I did a sort of "pin the tail on the donkey" round of buying.
Jubilee Metals, Kodal Minerals and AfriTin. The attraction being cheapness with potential.
All have worked out well more luck than skill (in hindsight wished I'd bought more, but hey ho there you go)
Somewhere along the line I actually started researching the companies I had invested in.
Biggest potential now sits with GGP.
I can wait 3 years because I'm confident in Shaun.
Have also taken a punt on Starvest (got to laugh, but someone told me Gervaise had done so)

If ESG cannot be met the BM is flawed.. Where do we go now?
Boo needs to stand up and change its BM and take the lead that others will follow.
Enough cash in hand to do this... be the leader, short term reduced profits on increased revenue.

Quick cheap fashion will continue, and the aforementioned will continue to make millions, but shareholders will continue to lose. Boo need to make that move for investors to see any return.

Boo owners/directors make profits, shareholders don't.
Held here for sometime but can see clearly now how things will pan out.

ESG cannot ever be matched on current model.

This guy can magic up money.
He was hugely instrumental in whipping up the support of Institutional Investors whilst at Northern Star.
He is now going to do the same for GGP, on a larger scale in my view.
He made mega money for those Institutional investors who listened and believed in his ambitions at Northern Star.
I for one, will not be at all surprised to see those same institutions (and there are many) follow him with GGP.
As for the current poor run with SP, doesn't really matter - we know why it's happening.
Sit tight and wait for the explosion... wont be next week, wont be next month but I dare say by the last quarter of this year we shall see momentum build.

I note discussions concerning the current price of gold having an impact on GGP SP.
Not necessarily the case.
The SP of top tier companies such as Newcrest is significantly influenced by the price of gold because they are producing.
The SP of companies such as GGP, who are in the exploration and development stage is not.

Sorry to be so blunt, but here is how things will pan out....
Boo and owners will continue to make tremendous profits but the shareholders will see no gain.
Fast and cheap is what consumers want, But not what serious growth investors want.
