RE: Message from Novacyt Investor Communications5 Jan 2022 20:12
He's clearly no mug, but the 'don't divulge anything unless you absolutely must' status quo persisted after GM's departure.
This situation could end really well or really badly, I cannot see a middle path.
I stay in because I cannot see any company bidding on Novacyt in present stalemate with DHSC, and that shields the company while putting in place the plans for Mid-Cap status, new products, new R&D projects etc.
When it's resolved I think it will be like Piranha's feeding on a dead fish, unless the directors have already done a deal subject to DHSC resolution outcome.
And we only have 3 weeks to wait for the company to be as expansive as possible about the last 6 months.
So I stay in, have not reduced, and hope I don't regret it, but if there are still too many skeletons in the cupboard come end of January, - DA not mentioning TATA for instance, I might have to reduce.
There are only 77 mil shares in issue.
Companies with more shareholders and larger MCap have gone private, disappointing shareholders in the process.
