But does the self test have the same problems as the other LFT's in providing a positive result in the presence of weak Omicron infection?

We have been advised how the PRO version works by targeting the NP protein, but it would be a mistake to assume the At Home version uses the same protein.

Further to the announcement on 29 June 2021, the Company's confirms there is a delay in the launch of PathFlow® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen, a self-LFT to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigens, previously expected in Q3 2021. This delay is due to increased demand for self-test approvals causing a backlog of tests currently under review by the Company's Notified Body. The Notified Body has communicated a delay of up to six months, therefore, the Company is also evaluating other approved options for a COVID-19 self-LFT.

By making an assumption I have lit a fire under Novacyt, aiming for a response that states by how much cycle time has been reduced.

The project to automate the surveillance program has obviously been completed successfully as per the regular reports Larry puts up on twitter, and still we are able to say the stated tests can be processed 100% correctly.

The bioinformatics team costs us enough, (and more recruiting for it is taking place), so we should be using that good work to sell more tests. Goodness knows if the sales people use it, but Kevin Crittenton has advised by email he does ensure prospective customers are aware of the report, and why it is complied, - basically for their benefit.

It is a USP for our tests.

1 OLD news. - The heating / cooling times in the brochure are valid AFAIK for instruments built before todays news was released.

2 Have cycle times increased from then until now? -
Cycle times (time taken to heat and cool in a cycle) have been reduced so the same work gets done faster.

I hope to see the company impressing upon prospective purchasers that more samples can get processed in a working day now.

The other project is so that we can detect more assays in one tube, which will give a lot more flexibility to our customers. FWIW I think the purpose of tonight's video was to show that the company had developed Promate - requiring only one pipetting step, (implying little work for operators to do) and that the heating / cooling times of instruments has now been reduced.

Following on from that news, does that mean that TATA have been supplied with older instruments, that do not have the faster cycle times?
