I understand the wait for the results approach, and agree enough words now we need to see the action, however I have enough confidence now to invest as post results the price to invest will of course be higher if they are right with their outlook.

Having listened to the second call in particular, I've made a substantial investment here. They made it very, very, very clear they 'will meet their H2 targets' which will surely made this run up. The director buys only back this up. Having said as they did, it would be career suicide for them not to meet these targets now, as well as having a severe personal financial; impact. I now believe H1 to be a blip, and with all the previous buyout approaches, this could be one of the biggest FTSE opportunities. Good luck all.

Yep. Same here. Can’t get through to anyone is customer services when they cancelled my flight at very last minute today. They may be performing well at present but they clearly need to improve in this area..

Ok.. Saw the presentation drop. To answer my own question, Euros did well but not enough to offset poor racing, Cheltenham specifically called out.

Oversold for sure, but such is sentiment with this, any miss will not go down well and I would hope to see some efforts to see off a further fall, such as inside buying although to be fair they already put allot of skin in the game.. So at least should be well incentivised.

What I would like a view on is why no commentary of the Euros impact? Should we expect this as part of an anticipated mid-Aug presentation of half year results?

Surely this must have exceeded expectations given the results, but not enough to offset their poor marketing customer conversations in Q1. Also, didn't they initially put out a 'outperformance' note on Q1.. So Q2 must have been very poor. Good to see no changes to longer term plan, if they can keep it on track.

The CCC update was very strong, the general theme of the sector seems to suggest an uplift. I'm surprised the market is not reacting to this with MCRO, seems to instead track rumours and sentiment rather than facts. An update would help stabilize the SP!

With debt so cheap, they just need to make an ok profit. Any issue can ultimately be overcome. It’s in no ones interest to see them ‘go bust’, not in this climate. Agree these have the potential to fly..

Positive noises from Keith Skeoch recently and fill me with confidence that SLA are taking a firmly positive stand on their dividend (again on Friday, CNBC, he was quoted reaffirming strongly the dividend payment/policy), great to see that they value this as much as we do. Also he recently said the new environment should be exactly the time active managers should shine, could we now see the shift from passive to active? Given his statement on this you would hope he has a degree of confidence SLA can start reaching their huge potential.. Another strong recommendation in todays MF too (though always take this with a ton of salt). Good prospects with a huge dividend going forward? Thoughts?

Wow. so many people think they know where the bottom will fall! I’m cautious correlating ‘peak virus’ with peak bottom. On that basis this would be easy, it completely discounts human phycology factors as we all get very used to this as a new (but temp) normal. Right now feels like a decent peak of fear and panic to me, I’m buying and happy with the current price even if there’s a chance of it dipping. Investing not gambling or worrying that I didn't get the 'perfect' price.
