@VistaMan except it is not guaranteed is it. Look at SDLF last week, virtually no drop so If you could have easily sold in and out and missed the div entirely. Especially at the moment, I wouldn't personally take the risk, and even if the drop is the same, there are fees associated with every trade

There's allot to like with the stock currently, the Macro supporting clean energy push, now much more urgent, the high dividend, and the fact that whatever the outcome of Iran this should be a net benefit, i.e falling interest rates also support this, but if higher this is linked to the energy crisis which supports higher pricing

By waiting until the dust settles, you will completely miss the upside. The call you need to make is is this undervalued or not based on your timeline? I conservative look at where you want to be at the end of the year and the share price now will give you your answer.. there is no doubt this is bargain territory, and following comments on the call yesterday I’m even more certain that if the housing market doesn’t pick up or the economy does not perform a helped to buy a scheme is imminent at the next budget.
