Spot the errors from the clowns at shyte profits:
"AIM-listed, Houston headquartered, Cayman Islands registered oil/gas play Frontera (FRR), whose operations are in Georgia (and if thats not a Red Flag.) has confirmed gas flow rates from its Dino-2 well in the Taribani complex. It flowed at 315 bbls per day well, at least part of one day. Apparently thats commercial, but I doubt shareholders can count their winnings just yet.
For starters, it was a mechanically stimulated flow (so The well naturally flowed light, sweet crude oil seems a bit of a stretch). And we are told:
On 18 May 2018, 3m interval of the Zone 14, situated between 2543m and 2546m, has been perforated, mechanically stimulated and flow tested together with Zone 15
So how long was the test, and what rate might we expect in the longer term? Eranswers on a postcard.
Zaza Mamulaishvili, President and CEO of Frontera, waxed lyrical:
We are hugely excited to have achieved a commercial production rate of 315 bbls/d .. confirm robust economics of the Taribani wells. current success of the Dino-2 testing is an important step forward towards achieving commercial development of the Taribani oilfield
Well, good for Frontera. That should be enough to get the next placing away at least!
But there are heading for 16 billion shares in issue. Even if that flow rate is sustainable for a whole year (with no drop-off in production rates), it will only produce 0.000007 barrels for every share in issue. Think: less that one ten-thousandth of a barrel of oil per share. And you have to knock off exploration costs, production costs, tax costs and so on.
Bear raider Waseem Shakoor is unimpressed, saying (via Twitter) that Frontera shares:
are worthless because the company has debt that it can't hope to repay with the pitiful cash flows it has. Every few years, there is a debt/equity swap that obliterates existing shareholders. Look at #FRR history, and the share count increase.
So with this fantastic news (sort of) which has seen the shares motor ahead by just 3%, I think we know what comes next: PLACING AHOY, PLACING AHOY
In other words, just SELL."
