Ignore the trading update,it won't have any bearing on the share price
I have seen this share go down 10% when results have been good
It drops from 488 to 481 in about a minute the same as yesterday

Well it took 11 mins before it went into the red now down 8p

If you were in at £8 then I feel for you,it could be that you get your money back next year on the other hand as we get nearer to 2021 then the big debts will start to incur and the cash flowI will dry up unless copper goes through the roof

It's a bad decision they have made having just got the company back from despair following the Enrc debacle so why didnt they decvelop Koksay as the next point of natural progression
Answer they are either very confident or very dumb

But small shareholders don't matter to the company and as far as I know none of there big shareholders have reduced there holding

There reply was well they are not long term holders
They are very arrogant and won't listen

I don't mind them going up nd down its just the percentage compared to the rest

There is no chance of them reversing there decision they want to be one of the top producers but that will take 10 yrs

Yes it's a bit like the Ftse up 7 Dow up 217 Dax up 98.

You can guarantee if the Dow falls then the Ftse will follow but not vice versa

Once again the biggest faller on the mining index

Kaz down 3.67 %

Not a good start
When the mining index was last at this level and the copper price was lower than it is today Kaz was 530
So let's hope that once 508 ish breaks it will rise quickly to 530

I read an article in the Ft at the weekend which reiterates that Copper is still strong in China dispite all the trade news, it's the hedge funds and the speculators that are keeping it down,so once it starts to go up and they reverse there positions we could see a surge

With Ftse futures up following the Dow late surge it should be a positive start for China when they open.As a little more encouragement Copper was also up and Bhp and Rio report on Tuesday

If copper can't move today when China's Copper imports for Sept are the best since March 2016 then I don't think there is much chance of it rising soon

Copper comes second to the Ftse
Anto is doing slightly better than Kaz,so we need the mining index to have a 600 day and copper to maintain or improve and then we will see some movement

I can't understand you putting this figure out when at the time of writing it the Ftse futures were down 100 points
yet you only expect a drop of 10p I would think it will be more likely 30p at the least

Ftse mining index has lost 1200 in the last 5 days and like I have said before as a general rule if the index goes down 100 points then Kaz will go down 5p,hence 5 x 12 =60p which would put Kaz back to the 5.50 mark give or take a penny or two
I agree that the current copper price moving from 2.76 to 2.81 will not have any bearing on the share price

Do you think that the Ftse 100 is a fair barometer to judge commodity stocks
Ftse 100 is up 4 points yet the Ftse mining index is up 267
Copper soaring again how many times does this happen at 4.30pm when London closes

Couldn't agree more we have enough red days alresdy yet we are red again when both the mining index and copper are up

You have put in your previous post a deficit in 2024 to coincide with the Koksay project
What I meant is that I have read nothing about them building it
They can't possibly build Koksay at the same time as the Russian one

Yes you could be right there are to many day traders in this share that create volitility
Those who bought yesterday around 516 sold today at 536 an instant 20p profit so then down it goes again
Can't see it doing any good until either some good news from the company of copper goes above 3 dollars
Best to come back in 2023 and see what the price is then
