Went down yesterday when copper was up and today copper up 1% and Kaz up 5p
Use to be when copper went up 1% Kaz would go up 3%
Looks like no interest in it volume only about 260,000

Most other companies in the mining index are iron ore or gold related or a mixture there prices are at yearly highs
As Kaz is pure copper like Anto they aren't doing so well because for some reason it's being held back
I sometimes wonder if China is holding the price low because of how much they use and until something chages it might not move much

Yes a big rise but with copper back down to the 2.65 mark we could see alot of that gain wiped away today

With copper bouncing off the 263 support and now about 267 and the ftse mining index at 19000 then Kaz needs a really good day to take it to the 530 range

Also today Codelco copper production for the first quarter down 18% from last year
However it's Ceo doesn't expect copper to go to 3 dollars this year

Strike action would be good for us but not the employees.You would assune that Codelco are less likely to give a pay rise whilst copper is at these low levels so we might get a boost in copper ptice

It wast the purchase that caused the drop it was the fact the company is taking on several billion dollars of debt in order to build it alongside 3 billion it already had
That is one reason why the share price takes a big hit when copper goes down and if it goes down to the 2.50 mark then no doubt Kaz will be 4.50 ish

When May resigns and Johnson is the new PM we will be in another period of uncertainty.If you look at the pound v dollar it's at a six month low and so is copper
I don't think that the trade war will be resolved for many months and if we have a hard Brexit then the pound and copper will go tumbling down further
The key support of 2.70 for copper failed to hold and I can't see any reason for it to go up

I see that Pmo is up 25% in the last 3 months 8% today yet Genl is up 1% in the same period
Something is wrong with this share

China pmi figures are out next week so hopefully the uptrend will continue which will help copper

Keep an eye on Laa Bambas it looks as though the villagers might decide to block the road again,which might send the copper price back up to the mid 290s
Mmg have lowered there output for the year again

Surely having paid an interim dividens last year it will continue to do so this year especially if copper prices remain at the current level or more
I am sure that they will get a partner hopefully Notlisk Nickel to help with the Baimskaya costs

The 63m shares are options he only holds about 4m whichi is not that many

You do know that this is not the former chairman of Kaz but just a major shareholder who may want the money for something else
