You are right that Potanin is the biggest shareholder that's why I said that he wouldnt be dictated to by Abramovich

I don't agree with you the majority shareholder is trying to buy Mr Chelsea stake so there is obviously some friction between the two of them,so I am sure that he wouldnt be dictated by him

I think that since Norilisk Nickel announced that they would be willing to work with Kaz the price has done very well
It may have shown investors that if somebody as big as them are prepared to partner Kaz then i am sure they could well have a choice of partners,hence the risk has been reduced

G20 starts next week with finance ministers meeting first and then the presidents and prime ministers follow this time next week
Hopefully the China and Usa trade war will achieve something to the liking of the markets,but then this is followed by the Fed interest rate decision a few days later and on the same day the Opec meeting
Then soon after that a Commons Brexit vote is likely to take place and will more than likely fail at the first attempt
So when or if a Santa rally happens is anyone's guess

I would have thought that the Ftse would have been a bit boring today with the Yanks busy eating Pumpkin pie so we can't blame them for the fall,so we will have to put it down to Brexit and the pound

I think that your correlation between Kaz and Copper is only applicable when Copper is above a certain price
The Ftse mining index is at the same level as on Oct 22nd at that time Copper was slightly higher than it is today and Kaz was at 471

I will be surprised if it doesnt,with Ftse futures down and oil from yesterday down along with the Brexit cabinet meeting it could be quite bad

It always seems that if one is up the other is down,and until they both move north I think the share price will be the same

Forget about electric vehicles they account for 200,000 tons a year which is 1% of what is produced and it will take 10 yrs before it makes any impact

You have got to decide whether you are in it for the next year of so when hopefully things will be better or you want to day trade it and take your chance
You get frustrated each week because it's not performing how you think,perhaps don't look for a few weeks and give yourself a break otherwise sell and take any loss or profit

I think you will find that copper moved higher following a White house announcement that Trump and Xi have held a conversation on trade earlier

Not sure of a Santa rally this year as China tariffs could come in December along with any interest rate rise will all dampen it
