You will only get a good day if both copper and the mining index rise
Today copper started to fall around early afternoon and Kaz went with it
Copper went down to its usually 2.73 and now has dropped further on reports of Trump putting more tariffs on China,so tomorrow doesn't look to be good either
I wonder if there is a triple bottom

I can understand your reasoning on the closure but it only means about 70,000 tons during the closure
Anto has upped it's production for next year by a similar amount,so to me it's swings and roundabouts
Totally agree with the hedge funds shorting it
Let's hope something is sorted out between the big two at the G20 which will alter things unless the Fed raise interest rates a few days later

To all those who have held and hopefully the rise can continue once the Dow Jones sorts itself out along with Mr Trump and Mr Xi at the G20 in a months time
Big unexpected rise for me today considering other factors
Perhaps the double bottom has helped but I will leave that with the experts

For those of you who study the charts can you tell me if we have reached this yet as it went within a few pence of it yesterday or does it have to fall to exactly the same level to achieve it

Don't think it's because of q3
I think that there are so many uncertainties about which is causing the share price to react how it does along with the Ftse and the Dow not rebounding and may well fall further and Copper doing similar
Add to this the Trade wars,Italian budget,Brexit,Usa bond prices and the Nov mid term elections to name a few
Perhaps next year will be better

Trades seem low I wonder if people are either waiting to see what the Dow is doing or the Q3 statement

Ftse can't get above that 7075 barrier so hence the mining index isnt flying yet although copper back to 2.83

Totally agree it's doing well at the momrnt

A bit like the Kaz board but nobody listens so it's all a waste of time

Provided these figures are on track ( - and I can see little reason to suppose they wont be) - the shares should move better!.. Il be amazed if they dont.

I didn't want him to think that the share price will suddenly jump just because of q3 statement
As we are all long term holders there is however no guarantee when the price may return to its former level,unless you can be more specific with your long term technical level,as I haven't got a clue about charts

All you get is a load of production numbers from the various mines
There is no mention of earnings,debt,cash flow etc which the market can digest
So can't see anything happening
