They wanted 19.2p for me to buy 10 grands worth and would only give me 18.66p to sell 10 grand.So yes big spread today, should be less tomorrow as Brent and PMO are up. Hope this helps a bit.

In my view for the short level to be that high it means they know something. Whilst at the same time Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley who are no mugs also are betting on Premier Oils share price rising. Again in my view for both of these bets to be correct a rights issue would mean cheap shares and a quick profit for the shorters then longer term as Premier grows doubling production by selling Zama and developing Sealion. Goldman and Morgan will make huge returns.

Were you following the story over there, how much has CEO taken out of the 'business' in salary total ? Why did they apply for the infrastructure fund and not UK export finance ? I think the FCA might want to look at a few things before they look at us poor BB punters/ mugs.

Correct two other interesting observations right now are 26.3% stock on loan on PMO largest short bet since the refinancing, and Goldman Sachs have an 8% long CFD on PMO, Morgan Stanley also have 5.11% long PMO most of that a CFD. So its quite a clear indication something big is going on there behind the scenes.

Its a myth that if you have a limit order in place your broker will be too scared to loan out some of your stock to shorters. News flash they are not. On another stock I hold Hargreaves hold 5.6% of the stock in nominee accounts. So there is no way they wouldn't be happy loaning out 2.5% to shorters. They can take the risk an earn a nice 3% stock on loan fee out of it.

Assuming the shorters sell the lot straight away then yes the loaned stock would pop up as a sell, but as we all know they like to drip feed the sells with their algos.
This fixation with who loans stock is getting a bit silly.
On Premier Oil at the moment there is 26.3% stock out on loan ! While I am at it putting a sell order on you account does not stop the brokers from lending out your stock. its a myth.

I'm with you on that the Q3 results good or bad or indifferent will not move this price significantly, and the FCA is minor. The important thing here is the business plan going forward, or a buyer and whos bought those bonds. Do you know anyway of finding out ?

The way I read that GS have 8.22% CFD long valid until 2029 the stock lending is only 0.48%

Keep that short open now, its important to have some conviction !

Its obvious that big Vern cannot take this private himself through buying the Equity due t his highest buy in price, so the way I see it he either convinces enough ' friends ' and investors to do it for him and make him chairman again or he buys the bonds to gain control.
Does anyone know if Elliott Capital bought any of the bonds last week ?
