Its off book so its a worked trade and if ( as I think ) its a buy matched with a sell ) then its neutral to the demand supply of the shares.
Have a look at UOG there are a few 250k and -250k trades today.. Did I say have a look at UOG, they are buying a good asset tomorrow ..maybe have a look at that deal if you want. DYOR etc

It was supposed to complete end of Jan so yes I think RNS and $11m tomorrow. Sounds like Nigoil might actually know what hes talking about ha ha.

Hold on looks like it went through twice actually at 11.53. Off book once then cancelled.
Then cancelled again after hours. Its a screw up but there is a trade there somewhere market maker to market maker. So its a buy matched with a sell.

Good day for HOC today, BLX. Does the -710,743 trade have a corresponding 710,743 trade at 11..am or whenever it was ?
Also have a look on London Stock Exchange website under trades and that time stamp. See if it says off book or cancellation. Their will be your answer perhaps.

Tullow still have options, are you aware of the Och Ziff loan to Enquest. Its secured on some production from Kraken and hedged low at $56 so the fund knows they get paid.

I don't want a take over here but I would like to see a cheeky bid. It would really be unheard of for a bid of 100% premium to the closing days shareprice. I think they would likely offer a premium say 30% to the 50DMA. If this happens its really going to ruin the new CEOs performance bonus so they need to announce him/ her and the package asap.

The best situation for the new CEO is low base to start from, for performance related pay and easier turn around potential. Dorothy has done the kitchen sinking and staff reduction announcements then they come in a look like a hero for merely steadying the ship.

Since 8th Jan 20 well over 30million shares traded and you don't think Majedie could have sold 3.5million of that volume ? Its a little over 12% I think they could have easily sold double that. About one more week till we can see their full holdings report in both funds that held Rockhopper.

On the 8th Jan Majedies Holdings were notified as 4.77% when below 4% threshold is reached they have to notify. 0.77% in well over a month ? Thats 3.5m shares to sell before next RNS average volume has been close to 1m per day. Around 30 trading days total volume approx. 30m ( with lots of selling ). Do we think they couldn't off load 3.5m shares through 30m of volume ?
