Noted that's why I put Squarepoint as the header, just doing a bit of research on them and they don't have many UK shorts.
Like I said before I think they are momentum shorters so they are not shorting on the fundamentals etc. They seem to pile in with others like World Quant.

Any one else think Squarepoint are playing a dangerous game shorting Ted Baker ( and Tullow ). on Ted Baker they opened .52% short declared on the 22 Oct 19 at around 400p after the big drop from around 1000p. The balance sheet doesn't look too good but there must be quite a high risk that the Brand could sell, market cap ony £136m debt £46m intangibles are only valued at £43m. Is the Ted Baker brand only worth that ?

The link on the UOG board pointed to the LSE date of admission for the UOG placing shares as today. Therefore it would make sense that an RNS be issued once UOG deal is transacted.

Look at it this way if you throw more money in yes you average down but you also increase your risk exponentially, sometimes the hardest thing to do is to do nothing but its the best risk management strategy.
