I agree Bananaman. The obvious difference between Ceres and AFC was that Ceres had a major partner. Not only has that been corrected, but ABB is a better partner with an established EV offering in many markets. AFC have hence circumnavigated the requirement for product awareness and market penetration as they will piggy back on ABB. The other great thing is that none of this factors in Alkamem, or the many uses for the solid cell when we have it.
Give or take a few pounds, Ceres is now worth £2Bn. There seems no obvious reason that AFC should not come to be valued on the same basis and I think a 50% discount to that reasonable in assigning a near term net present value to AFC, hence a figure of £1Bn. This would equate to a share price of £1.50 which has become my personal target for 2021. I think 80-100p very achievable within the next 3 months.
