I think this significantly threatens any orders from Acciona for AFC. The agreement for AFC is for a single demo project. This agreement with Plug power is massive. Plug Power will not allow AFC to supply fuel cells into this.
I can't see this as anything other than bad news. Would welcome the thoughts of others.

Seriously, we pretty much all want the same thing. A rise in the SP over time, whether it goes up in a straight line or not. With the solid cell in development and Alkamem in the pipeline we will get there. And we will get our £1Bn valuation.......but I have no idea how much beyond that we will go. Personally I think the Zeus target of 191p realistic in 2021 or early 22.

Daz asked a simple question. How do you think AFC will turn a profit this month when there has been nowhere near enough apparent income? Where is the money coming from. If you can't answer why you wrote that statement then it does indeed call into question the credibility of any statement you make. So please explain as I would love to see AFC make a profit.

That’s a good question Daz. I wondered the same when I read his statement as I have no knowledge of any such income.

I think your approach is a great one....drip feed when you can. That's what I started doing 12-13 years ago in AFC. I have never sold a share. I now own well over a million. I hope it works as well for you as it has for others on here over the years.

I do wonder if the in house broker released the broker note today to give the price a boost in advance of news later this week AFC do like to release news on a Thursday. Just a guess....I have no inside knowledge! Nor have I consulted my tea leaves.

How many times?? It is a target SP they are giving, not a target MCap. The SP either makes their target or it doesn't. It never did.

FACT: Allenby had a 232p target which proved wildly optimistic whatever the reason it was never realised.

I don't have time to reason with someone as entrenched in his views as you are, and who confuses opinion with fact. You were as bad in your BrianSmith/Fuelcell days. You provide the board with excellent information at times but sadly it is often buried in the rest.

Haggis, the target price was for the SP, not the MCap ....these notes are for individual investors and that is what they are interested in. You can dress it up all you want but the facts are that the target sp was about 700% higher than the actual SP which never got anywhere near it. How you can say that is anything other than wildly optimistic beggars belief.

That's rubbish Haggis. Broker notes for AFC used to be wildly optimistic. Ton McColm, who is involved now, was a particular culprit in his Allenby days......232p was one of his targets when the sp was 20% of that.

It is only in the last year that targets have seemed more realistic.

You know the above Haggis so why say otherwise?

Ceres are indeed markedly up, but don't forget that they had a big share consolidation (either 10:1 or 20:1...can't remember)
