What about ABB and Mace, probably our two most promising partners at present. What about the datacentre marker. And what about Alkamem? What about £62m in the bank and a new high calibre workforce.

I certainly would buy now if I hadn't bought so heavily already. Now is the right time. And the purchasers of a couple of hundred millions shares recently would agree.

I thought this was very much a meeting with two diverse outcomes.
The first was disappointing in that we all expected a big announcement whereas what we got was news of delays re genset replacement trials and probably a hiatus of 6 months as a result. The sp may stagnate in the 50-75p range through summer as a result.
But the long term outlook is fantastic. AFC clearly believes that it will be a big player disrupting many markets.....gensets, maritime, rail, data centres , EV etc. It can back this up with multiple partnerships, each directed to a specific market (Mace is a good example) £62m in the bank, estate for production secured and an expanding high calibre workforce.

Real revenue is a little way off, but it is the orders that will generate that revenue that will fuel the SP and those will be coming in much sooner.....I think I heard AB say this year.
AFC is like my nephew. Everyone was worried for years that he would not grow. Then eventually he did. He is now 6’4.
The caveat. Is that the high power density cell being developed this year actually works as intended.

So my view is patience this year and lift off next.

I’m haven’t posted anything negative about AFC. I posted about Haggis, pointing out that I think he used to post many years ago as Fuelcell and BrianSmith. He has not denied this. When he did he posted wildly optimistic sp predictions and performance figures.

For the avoidance of doubt I remain fully invested in AFC but am frustrated a little by ongoing delays in substantive orders. I think 2022 will be transformational and show the path to commercial success. I hope for £1 this year and £2-3 next.

Haggis was always very optimistic when he used to post as Fuelcell and BrianSmith. Daftly so in fact.

It will take proper commercial sales to get us to £1 Bn. The sort where the man in the street can drive up to a AFC-powered EV charger as opposed to a former F1 driver in a race car in a desert.

I am with Interactive Investor and have been for ten years. Overall I find them first class.

The May event has been orchestrated for a reason eg PI questions deferred from the AGM to this event. Presumably the reason is a positive one and , if so, now would seem a good time to buy. The brokers both have targets over 150p, and those targets fail to take account of many aspects. They are only going to go up.

All this suggests as SP re rate at some point.

You will be taxed when you sell from your non ISA, regardless of whether the money goes into an ISA or not. A broker service might do that all for you, ie sell, transfer the capital and then buy in your ISA, but you still register a capital gain and so tax is liable.

The dilution will already have been built in
