I know AFC well enough to know that they would never have divulged anything of any of note to you in a Zoom call.

The following is an update from WH Ireland in response to the RNS. I like the bit about attracting world class partners who will bear the capital costs (MPO take note):

WHI View: AFC is delivering on the aggressive guidance it set out in relation to the progress of its high density solid fuel cells. The Alkamem® product is also being advanced at an impressive pace in our view and we note the CEO’s comments, indicating the unique qualities of its alkaline technologies. For reference, AFC Energy’s technologies allows for low-grade, low-cost hydrogen to be used as a fuel. Combined, the unique attributes of AFC Energy’s technologies allow the company to attract best-in class industry partners with strong balance sheets to carry the bulk of the capital costs required to scale up production. We believe this strategy will have the effect of maximising shareholder returns. We note that both the Alkamem® and the HydroX-Cell(S) will open up new and substantial markets for AFC Energy going forward.

This RNS Reach announcement was specifically about the solid cell which was always going to be 2022. it in no way precludes any other announcements in the meantime, commercial or otherwise.

There is no indication that a further fund raise is needed.

Given a solid set of results (ie no surprises) and the expected news over the next 3-6 months I can still easily see this at £1 within three months and £1.50 by the year end. That is within the Zeus target SP, which itself accounted for a very narrow set of parameters global markets, Alkamem, solid cell for example all excluded). Our MCap at £1 would still be under half that of Ceres.

It must be helpful that Riccardo is based just 30 mins or so south of AFC. Riccardo is developing real EV expertise.....they make the engine for the new McLaren Artura which can run in full electric mode. I would like to think that they will work with AFC on the solid fuel cell to identify applications and develop partnerships......trucks, trains and boats come to mind.

How so? Here is the line cut and pasted from the RNS

· Revenue and other operating income for the 18-month period to 31 December 2020 will be around £32-33 million, above market expectations

It says that the revenue is £33m in the 18 month period and that this is above expectations. That's £22m per year.

Ceres has released a trading update today which shows that it’s current MCap is supported by revenue of just £22m per year.

We won’t need a huge amount in terms of orders to spark a big upward swing in our sp.

It's hard to comprehend how Jake's post, which to me seemed about as reasonable as it can get (and has 27 recs at present), can be criticised or questioned for its motives....but yet it has been.
Can we return this board to what it was? A place where opinions could be aired and tolerated (as long as they were reasoned or evidenced) and information passed freely. The vast majority on here are genuine PIs with a desire only to see the company grow and come to fruition.

I'm glad no one else sees this as a negative.....I'm still struggling with that but its great to have the views of others.

Cant see Plug power letting H2 they have produced go into an AFC fuel cell when they make their own, and already do so in volume.
