Thanks BumbleB Hopefully he’s plugging away in the background laying the foundations. Most sales people I know get very frustrated when they are not selling. He seemed like a good chap.
Does anyone know if Tom Pollard is still with AFC. I don’t recall anything from him for ages and as National EV sales manager he doesn’t seem to have done anything. Is anyone aware of any activity?

This is a fascinating paper. I don't think the commercial applications to AFC are immediate, but if you read the sections on alkaline membrane fuel cells there is definite potential for Alkamem here (nafion is cited). I am sure AFC will be aware of this application and the enormous significance if they can get the S cell to work directly from ammonia. It would not surprise me if this is a focus of research for them at present.

No problem Jhonboy...I probably do.
I am firmly behind AFC and the reason I continue to hold is that I expect great progress. However, like many, I am frustrated by the lack of news flow that always seems to follow very optimistic pronouncements from AFC. The lack of firm orders means that I am confident of commercial success, but not yet 100% so!
Perhaps I am a long term ramper and a short term de ramper.....or more likely just a slightly weary very long term shareholder!

It will affect sentiment for AFC hugely if they are dropped by ExE next season. It will also raise big questions about the tech. Personally I expect AFC to be retained and the tech to be thus validated.
It also says technology revolutions tend to happen very quickly. I hope AFC is reading that as it's all feeling a bit glacial at the moment on the commercial front. I have to be honest and say that I was underwhelmed by Extreme E this weekend. I can't help but think that it would have more impact going around some of the UK's beautiful rallying sites, plus a couple in Europe and the USA. Here's hoping momentum starts to build soon. Interesting to note that Ceres is rated as the 200th biggest UK company by MCap. That's the scale of challenge AFC needs to conquer.
