Wouldn't it be fantastic if AFC could be a part of this. it could happen.

I have heard several authorities over the last few weeks speak of hydrogen not as a fuel but as a medium for power storage. There are some intrinsic advantages over using batteries for storage. So free feedstock ie green hydrogen from PV powered electrolysis, this being fed through a Fuel cell for power.

Can anyone think of a company that Acciona is already dealing with?

And can anyone think of a company that has imminent plans to make green hydrogen from PV, store it and then use it to provide electrical power.

It just could happen........

And the second biggest Yachtmaster was coming out of the EU.

I agree Sharesport, but the problem is that not one of those even hints at a commercial contract. We really need to show that we can sell something.

I guess a broker note yesterday meant that we were never going to get an RNS today. As the in-house broker WH Ireland would probably have been aware and if there was significant news due today they would not have published a broken note yesterday if today’s news was likely to render it immediately irrelevant.
It would be very interesting to read the text of the note but very comforting that they have seen enough to double their fair value estimate

That’s a fair point. But AFC has led us this year to believe that we are now truly commercial and that orders and partnerships will be announced. It is a year since the EV demonstration but yet we have no news of any orders. I am worried that they are struggling to get any commercial foothold in the market.
That said I think the solid cell and Alkamem are where our future lies.

Read my posts Chippyjo and you will see that I often say I have faith in the future for AFC. I want them to work as I probably have more skin in the game than you do. You cite deramping, but your posts are equally ramping frankly. Stick to facts and don't suggest that I am any less needed than you are.

The facts are that I think AFC has a bright future. But we need sales. Not news on manufacturing, or driving cars in places none of us will go. Is Ceres pulling these stunts. no. Instead they are delivering commercial traction.

I might add that you would do well to start thinking of AFC as a business, and less like a local football club you support.

I'm not seeing an RNS today as promised....well done TedJames. I I suppose we could get something later in the day. Perhaps he will spare us his predictions in future.

I note another very positive RNS from Ceres following their RNS of earlier. No wonder their share price has made such progress this week. The gulf between Ceres and AFC is widening, and this is solely as we are still failing to demonstrate any commercial traction. With only 2 weeks until Christmas there is scant time to do so this year.

I agree Klunk. That it works is in the Sahara to power a car that will run for 45 mins in lots of sand is utterly irrelevant to orders. We need to know that it will power a car that will stop at Watford Gap services whilst the owner gets a big Mac and fries. That's the real world, that's where orders will go, and that's what they tested last year. it works.

Extreme E is great for publicity, but the configuration is not that which will feature in large scale orders. if it doesn't work our reputation will suffer, but the fuel cells work. All the way to Dundee.

We know it works. They toured a working version up and down the country nearly a year ago charging a car along the way. it's commercial traction we need. Orders!
