Ammu.......you seem to be taking great delight over on ADVFN that I sold out yesterday and this is rising, even gloating at my travel share purchases going red today. Please don't show yourself up for the feckwit that you obviously are and gloat at other folks misfortunes. Lets just agree to come back in a year and see where we both stand then. Good luck with your CNA investments, lets hope you do well and you can read a positive RNS later this week about the Energy sale being approved. It should give you a nice 10% lift prior to the engineers agreeing to go on strike over the next month or so. I agree this could easily be 70p but just as easy it could be back to 30p on the first hint of a strike.

Ammu,.......not justifying my sell to anyone, just saying cheerio after posting much on this forum over the past 5 years or so.
This would need to go up over 300% from here to get me back into profit. It may happen but not in my lifetime, I do see some travel shares maybe achieving that.
Hopefully you will see this back to its pre covid level of 70p and maybe a divi reinstated sometimes next year. I think in recent weeks I became spooked about the damage a possible strike would do and as for the sale income from the energy group most of the money will be required to top up their pension fund.

Ammu......not sure how you work that out.....I have held CNA for over 5 years and posted lots on it.....over exposed with shares that cost me £250K. Sadly I lost £180K today selling but how many more years would I need to hold to get back to my buy in level? I may have done the wrong thing in trying to recover my loses elsewhere but I flipped the coin and as they say fortune favours the brave.
Yes I have been holding IAG for over a year but been adding all the way down and also on the way back up.

Castle.......although my initial investment was 75% down it would mean CNA would have to rise 300% from this present levels to put me back in profit. My other investments are well spread in mining, oil, tech and pharma so in adding these massive undervalued travel company shares I live in hope that a 300% gain can be achieved within the next 2 years....something that I do not see possible from CNA but that said who really knows?

Joe.....hopefully you get your wish. I was just fed up sitting on a huge loss when so many other shares making great covid recovery plays. With a bit of luck and as the vaccine becomes widely available the travel sector will make some spectacular gains.....I may have made the wring move but sitting on huge losses here was no longer an option for me.

Joe........how radically different though, that is the key? I see other shares out there growing at over 10% per day in the travel sector, I just thought I would try and pick up some of the action before it is too late. I was happy to hold here even with a big loss on paper as I was picking up over £10K per year in divi.....but once the dive was binned I have been sitting on a huge loss with very little gain. As I said before....watch this fly now and my newly purchased travel sector shares fall....that would sum up my share dealing life.

I took the difficult decision this morning to turn my large 75% paper loss here into an actual loss. I have sold out losing a fortune but realise in these crazy times there are shares out there that can turn my big losses back to profit. I have decided to try my luck in the depleted travel sector....maybe a bit late to the party but still lots to come I feel yet. As they say fortune favours the brave. Just sold out of CNA at a huge 75% loss in the hope of recovering those losses in the depleted travel sector. Not easy turning a big paper loss into a real loss but hey ho, sometimes fortune favours the brave. Hopefully SAGA, CCL and IAG can turn it around for me. Not easy to buy a share that is already 100% up in recent weeks but I think in two years time we can possibly double these early gains.

Anyway, thrown caution to the wind and topped up more on the fall. Surely she cannot stay below 300p for much longer. Nice profits in IAG funding this now.

Every travel stock flying today yet SAGA decides to reverse the trend! Kicking myself, I could not decide between SAGA and TUI last week but plumped for SAGA using t(e term let the trend be your friend......I now find myself 15% down whilst TUI 20% up .

Rastuss......I am just willing to be mugged by bully boy tactics. Why would anyone sell now at 640 if that is what the offer is. There is no way that offer will be reduced, they know they are stealing the company at that price and I think once their sneaky tactics fail a better offer will be forthcoming.

They must think we all came down the Clyde on a banana boat! WTF do they think we are all stupid ? Even more determined to hang on to my large holding. 640 way under values KAZ. I have held here for over 10 years and my investments are long term and not interested in a quick buck. Dont get mugged. Sadly it seems a few folk are.

Ventura.......past performances. After a quick fall like yesterday within a few days we normally see a quick bounce in the first hour of trading, it will then fall back before bouncing again after lunch. NCYT has firmed quite a pattern over the past few months. Not that I plan on selling as still holding from my £2.20 days.

After all the doom and gloom mongers around today we finished at near break even. I can see this opening at 850 tomorrow and maybe pushing £9 by the end of the day. Mass testing is here to stay for the foreseeable future from what I can see.

Jimmy......I guess only time will tell. Come back at 1630. I only see positives here with more good news to come this week.

Like last week once the initial panic of a possible vaccine is over NCYT will bounce back to where the market see its true value......lots of folk have panicked here and taken their already huge profits but what really has changed since last month that saw the price pass £12. The only thing that has changed is we have actually improved our outlook.
Stop panicking and also stop looking. Come back in 6 months and no reason why this should be £15 or more.
