Dont forget Saga is not just a cruise buisness. The profits from the insurance side of the company will still keep coming in and help keep the ships afloat. Also Saga’s customers are the ones that will still have money left stashed under the mattress and jumping up and down to go spend it cruising again. Old habits die hard, covid or no covid.

UK set to approve Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccine within days

The vaccine, developed by BioNTech and Pfizer, could be delivered within hours of the authorisation, Whitehall insiders told the Financial Times.

Officials close to the process said the first injections could take place from December 7. The UK has so far ordered 40 million doses of the two-shot vaccine.

Hugely significant news - vaccinate the over 80's first and deaths/hospitalisations will fall by more than half.

Sometimes I cannot work this market out. A great RNS and we fall 6%, in the meantime no news over at Carnival and they are up 3%.

Castle.......one can only live in hope that it is upwards. Short term maybe pretty volatile but lets see. Moved my profits from CCL and bought on todays dip. Maybe good, maybe bad.

Just moved a nice little profit from Carnivals movement over the past couple of days to top up here. I did not expect that little drop here this morning so hopefully I have made the right move. I hold too many of these now something I keep telling myself not to do but longer term this has to be a good price. Only time will tell I guess.

Another positive step towards us getting back cruising. Hopefully see some blue back on the price today, we still have a long haul but with every bit of good news we should see a nice tick up. Good luck fellow cruisers.

Castle......a good RNS for Saga this morning so maybe the advance will continue.

Castle....both CCL and Saga have had a good run lately. Maybe worth hanging off till the froth comes off then take a look. Like all travel stock they have multibag chances but all now driven by where we go next with the vaccine.

Castle, I bought a couple of months ago then bought a load of their offer shares at 88p I think they were. Doing OK but not planning on selling for a year or so. I have EZY too. Traded Tui yesterday and bought and sold 30 minutes later making £1K I hold CCL and Saga on the cruise front. Hopefully in a couple of years they will both multibag.

I cannot understand why folk are happy to mock folk that lose money. I am sure these folk live a very strange life. Travel has dine me well too the past month, my dale here was just to top up on a few. I have faith in the airlines recovering quickly once everything sorted. I am an ex bus driver but now drive a little Gulfstream for those folk that like to by pass the airlines. A fun job that pays well and gives me lots of spare time to play on the market. All we need now is to see the vaccine rolled out and prove to be successful. As for CNA it has cost me dearly but hopefully for those left aboard I hope the recovery comes soon. Lack of news and the threatened strike concerned me a fair bit and was the reason I eventually jumped ship. One thing for sure CNA have a better chance now of recovery now that Conn has departed the fold. Good luck to you and stay safe.

Debs..........it is not a great bit of research if you are an investor here as it is on the Company website that you should all be following.
It is good news and the way CNA must start to go as it starts to close down its gas production in parts of the UK.
Hopefully this new guy has got his act together and will see where the future lies for CNA. That said it will be a very long journey.

As they say shares do not go up in straight lines. I guess a constant rise of over 100% was always going to run out of steam. I am here for the long term and can see very good gains over that period. Any small dips will just give more buying opportunities. I see yesterday Carnival announced they are going to start cruising again soon with some trips to t(e Canaries. I am booked with Cunard on the QM2 in April and it looks like at the moment that trip will be their inaugural Atlantic crossing post covid. Folk like me are champing at the bit to get travelling again. Good luck guys and stay safe.
