Doubled my holding here on this mornings fall. It has to be good value longer term......I wish I could just sit on my hands though as I always get twitchy when I see 10% profit.

Back in June we touched £2.50......since then what has changed? Not a lot apart from a vaccine that no one yet knows how successful it will be. With a RI looming I can see this falling to near RI prices once the rights are floated. I am confident that Tui will survive but I reckon a few more months before we see this turning around again. I honestly expect this to go below £2 before I even consider getting back aboard.

Those that bought NCYT at 5p earlier this year did nit expect it to reach £12.50 9 months later. I know this is a totally different ball game but miracles do happen. NCYT has taught me one thing.....never sell unless you have too.

Like IAG a few months back once the RI shares are in circulation this will fall to a similar level. IAG RI shares were up for grabs at a big discount of 88p.....a few dats after they came to the market the share price fell to a similar level.
Not sure why folk are buying now......you could pick these up closer to £1 if you hang in a month or two.

Looking a safe haven at the moment amongst a sea of red elsewhere. One of those shares that should slowly plod back up without any spectacular moves. I think we can all relax from these levels and watch our investments slowly grow.

Great update from Bellway.....looks like all builders doing pretty good if going by their report. 50p divi to be paid in January. I see TW back above 170 soon.

A nice opportunity to top up today......All builders flat out at the moment so expecting good news from Bellway tomorrow which should give the market a boost. RDSB has been kind to me today so just cashed in my profits and banked them here.

I bought in here two weeks ago splitting my investment 50/50 with Carnival. Since then I am up 20% in Carnival and down 20% here! Doh! Why the discrepancy between the two?

Just been notified by Cunard that my planned sailing to NYC aboard QM2 at the end of April has been cancelled. No plans to sail till the end of May at the soonest. The reason they give is as their crews are spread around the world and until the UK government get their fingers out and come up with a plan for cruise companies to start cruising again Cunard cannot start to bring their crews back to their floating homes. Hopefully UK government will come up with a plan soon to allow cruise companies to start moving again.

Just joined you guys.....this looks well cheap now especially with a broker upgrade to push it along. I also feel it is relatively safe should Brexit go belly up. Good luck all and stay safe.

The government need to get their fingers out soon as far as coming up with a plan for the cruise industry. I was meant to sail to NYC aboard Queen Mary in late April rescheduled from last April but Cunard just emailed me saying they are now cancelling all operations till end of May. The reason being they need to bring their world wide spread crews back to join the ships but cannot do that till they have information as to a way forward from the UK government.

Newbee......140 was my average having been in these for years........last week I bit the bullet and sold out at a £180K loss......I was sitting on dead money and was watching every other share nearly double in the past few months. Not easy to take such a loss but split what I took out into travel, oil and builders......I am already over 10% up since moving despite a couple of the travel ones taking a bit of a kicking the past two days. Sometimes you have to cut your losses and run. The final straw for me in CNA was when the divi was stopped....up till then even with my paper loss the divi was paying me back 10% per year on average. I was worried too about them selling off all of their assets and the pending strike action too.
Everyone has different ideas so I hope for you hanging around pays off. For me it is onwards and upwards. Take care.

Decided to join you guys on the latest buy note. I think all builders going to have a pretty good year but I have a better feeling about RDW over the rest. Hopefully I am proved right.

This has provided some great trading opportunities the past few days, I have bought and sold 3 times now between 154 and 160 giving a nice little profit each trade. A great long term hold but with the latest broker buy notes for this, BDEV and RDW I have decided to try my luck at RDW. I reckon all builders are a pretty safe bet for the next year at least.

Anyone still here from the days of 18p. This was the first ever share that I bought. My initial investment started with £200 buying in at 0.2p within a year I had an average holding of £10K at average 0.5p Whilst on holiday in Portugal I noticed it starting to rise, knowing I held too many shares I took advantage of the rise and started to sell off most of my holding. Within a very short time the price hit 18p and eventually I sold everything. When it dropped back to 15p I started to reinvest my profits and buy back in......from there I continued to average down and I find myself still here!! I have written this share off now and rarely look in. Some you win, some you lose. Maybe one day I will check in to see that 18p again .....but then again maybe pigs will fly.

I have just come back aboard after over a year away. That price drop this morning was too tempting to ignore. Everywhere I look Wimpy homes are selling like hot cakes, apart from more jitters over brexit I see no longer term bad news here. If and when a brexit deal is done this will be back above 165 I am sure of that.....I am also convinced a deal will be done even if sadly it means selling off our fishing rights which I think sadly maybe the case.
