Dagger, not sure but would like to see 400 this week. To be honest I should sit on my fingers and look back in a year. Whenever I see a nice profit I feel it needs to be banked, longer term I guess we lose out doing that but hey ho a profit is a profit.

Daggermal, not sure that was the reason for the shake as most stocks fell rapidly at the same time. I headed off for a sea swim this afternoon and as I was 25% up I decided to dump at 350, came home to see the drop so back in at 320. A good trade and a cracking swim too. A bit fresh though as water still only 16c and no wet suit for me.

Teddy100......never say never! I have held this since 294p and continue to hold but I still have some money that I use for trading it. I have made more with that money than the longer term hold. I tend to agree things need to be pretty dire to see 300 again but as I say, never say never.

I still see this trading between 300-380 for some time yet, a great trading stock if you can get your timing right.

It is just following the tracks that it has done over the past couple of months. Rapid rises folled by nearly as rapid falls, the hard thing is trying to time the bottom and the top...impossible but once you set your own profit margins there is good money to be made here. Will we see sub 400? Maybe aye and maybe no. I will wait till we do.

Looks like all the airlines are going to re trace for a day or two. We have had a couple of great days so only to be expected. Despite my plan to hold long term I have jumped ship this morning till I can get a clearer view of what direction we will take next. A sure sign that this will fly this afternoon then!!!!

Landy.....I think the best thing to do is buy and just go away for a year. We all know where this will be in time, just have to buy and forget. I always remember buying Taylor Wimpey in the 2008 crash. I bought at 5p and sold at 15p. Just before CV19 and 10 years on they were touching 250. I know, hindsight is a great thing!

I too jumped too early, bought at 185 and sold yesterday at 225. The real mess though was buying TUI at 265 and selling at 305 to buy IAG. Look at TUI this morning. I could have doubled my money in less than a week!
Ah well, I guess a profit is a profit, decided to try again here so back in just now at 239. I will now just go away and forget in the hope it will double within the next few months.

Sold here last Thursday at a small profit as I decided seeing TUI fall to 265 it seemed too big a bargain to ignore. Also picked up some IAG, TUI up 56% today,, IAG up 20% I sold both this morning at a pretty good profit and now back in here. Lets hope this can have a blue day tomorrow as all the big gainers today fall back. Our day will come.

It certainly has although an inter day high only. I got out at 435 the same day.

This is the 3rd time in 2 months that we have jumped from the 260 region up to the 440 region. If you have timed your buys and sells well during that time you have done very well. I am out again after buying at 265 and will wait to see where we go over the next week or so. I think we may visit the 320 area again but Who really knows?

Caitlin.....this is not news, the government hinted 2 weeks ago that the quarantine would be coming in. I understand too that it will only be a short term exercise and I see all the airlines starting to ramp up their services again soon. This stupidity has gone on long enough and it is time to get the world moving again. I even see this ending blue on Tuesday.

I am in, anything below 200 has to be value here. I see a quick bounce from here should news be good on quarantine. I feel we just need to start cracking on with life now before the country is bust for ever.

Veteran10......Good luck, nice to see others here, as they say let the trend be your friend, a very slow and steady rise is fine by me. Merchants starting to really ramp up now from what my builder friend tells me. Everyone desperate to get stock as has been in short supply.

To be fair, if you look at the fundamentals here and the outlook over the next 6 months that broker rating may not be far off.
We have watched huge swings here Over the past couple of months and nothing really warrants them. One thing for sure though it is creating some fantastic trading opportunities. As I said earlier, it is like playing roulette at the moment, will it be red or black. I still see further swings between 250 and 350 before the market settles down.

I really see this now as a good safe bet. No more bad news to come but only good.
I expect to see this knocking on the door of 120p by the end of the month. This is one share along with TPK that I feel I can sit back with and relax, slow movement is good. I will continue to trade both BP and TUI as they are making some spectacular moves if you time it right. Good luck folks and stay safe.

At some stage this will be a great long term hold. In the meantime it is a great trading share with swings either way of 30% or more. These rapid gains go against all the logic but are often followed by equally rapid falls. This could go on up to 350 before ending back below 300 within days.
This market really is a casino right now!

This has been on a real yoyo ride over the past 2 months. Big money to be made trading it if you get your timing right. How many times recently have we gone from the high 200’s to over 400 then fell back again. I said last week when it fell over 10% in a day to 265 that it was worth getting back in for the ride. You will not see small rises and falls here like 1 or 2% but the norm is to rise and fall 10% or more.
The question you need to ask is when should I bail and wait fir the next inevitable fall.
