Tincup....cheers, I sold some TUI last week to top up here.....needless to say TUI up 15% today!
Still, I think this now a good longer term hold which may not give the big jumps up and down but a nice steady tick up every week would be better for the nerves.

I feel lonely, anyone else in here at the moment? I see a slow steady growth here over the next few months. Happy to continue to hold as the building sites re open and material demand ramps up.

I see this getting back to 120p by the end of May, if not before. What is not to like about BT in these wild markets?

Out of the 12 stocks I hold only BT and TEK finished blue today. Not bad considering the carnage in the market today. I will take that as a positive sign of things to come.

BT holding up well today when you look at the carnage everywhere else! Has to be a good longer term buy at these levels.

I have to disagree, I do not see your suggested 20% fall today? You are trying your best to put this share down, are you a disgruntled out of work pilot? Maybe you need some CRM in your life?

Just bought back in this morning. Hopefully we must be near the bottom now (famous last words) Now that all the bad news is out re divi surely we can start a slow climb back. The one thing that has kept most folk going of late is telecommunications be it internet or phone calls.
I have just renewed my BT contract and git a cracking deal so looks like they are trying hard to be competitive again.

I mentioned a couple of weeks back that once things start moving on site again the suppliers will be full out trying to catch up. I decided to buy some TPK Travis Perkins as I understand most folk are now out of stock and the push will be on to re supply.
Since then TPK has ticked along nicely, hopefully TW can follow suit.

3300, you cannot compare EZY or any other airline with TUI. This is not an airline but a travel company with hotels, aircraft and ships. Over the past 2 months It has for whatever reason behaved against all predictions. The German funding is a great boom for this and German folk will be itching to get travelling again once all this is over. I see no reason at all from this sort of level we cannot double our money once things start to recover.

Hillbilly....same on Halifax, it took me 15 minutes before it let me buy, eventually had to pay 15p Hopefully this will look cheap in a few months time.

For a change I am sitting in my fingers as I think my entry at 265 is a pretty good price whatever. That said watch it crash now to 250 :-(

Caitlin.....I bought at 265 on Thursday. A few weeks ago I bought at 275 and sold a few days later at 330, needless to say I then watched it hit 440 before falling back down!
This time I will sit on my hands till I see maybe a 20% profit.

3300......I will wait till 300+ again before I bail.

This always seems ti recover well after a bad down day.....11% down on Thursday so I expect if true to past form we may see this back up today.....she shot up 11% on the DAX on Friday so maybe a similar bounce today.
At times she seems to defy all of the odds and fly in the face of adversity.

These restrictions will have no effect on TUI share price, this will follow the DAX price on Monday and I reckon we will see a 10% rise during the day before falling back a touch.
The quarantine is the first steps to allowing full air travel again and will be short lived as impossible to police anyway!

Tui proving to be a great trading share at the moment. The past twice it has fallen sub 280 it has rapidly risen again to 350 plus. A bit of a risk but back in for the ride at 265. This seems to keep rising against all the odds when it decides to. Good luck and stay safe.

One reason I am investing in TPK, the builders merchants are going to be full on soon.

Just taken some NCYT profits and doubled my holding here though a bit difficult to buy first thing. I think a lot if folk are seeing the true potential now.
