Yes, by 'bashing' I meant the attempts back then to prove that the Bushranger prospect was not 'commercial'. Posters were coming up with all sorts of calculations to prove the point, even though this was never verified by Colin Bird. What did happen though was that all of the negative posts appeared to put a big damper on the whole project which was then reflected in the falling share price.

Fair enough, I am not going to argue. I was never a big poster here, nor a big holder back then, but the poster that stuck in my mind at the time the bashing started and the share price started falling was Andrew4444. Funnily enough, the posts are still all on here and I am looking back through them as far back as May 2022 and earlier. There were 2 Steve's posting then - Steve4077 and stevemocal - so presumably you are saying it was one of them. I thought it was 'theiceberg' who was the massive 'expert' and 'ramper' back then but even he turned if I remember rightly.

To buy in now, at sub 1p, with the prospect of the share price rising to 2p, 3p or more once the full drill results are announced seems to be a pretty good prospect, especially considering the subdued state of the AIM market.

There has not been any huge buying here to move the share price up since the RNS yesterday. I expect that may happen once the assays are released - which may take a while - similarly to what happened at GSCU. Their drill results announced that they had hit copper, albeit in much smaller lengths than here, but their share price didn't really move until the assays came out at which point it doubled/trebled up. Meanwhile here, while we are waiting for the assays (and who says this won't be more of the 5.47% Cu), we still have some more drilling underway.

0.915p to buy and 0.8875p to sell but still no trades of note are going through.

People will have to start buying soon despite the rising Ask price. 0.9p to buy, 0.94p to buy, 1p to buy is what I can see but the buys are just tiny to push this up so far. Maybe the MM's are holding the bigger buys back to release them in an hour. The biggest buy so far is only just over 250,000. Blimey, I am over £6K up from my buys yesterday!!

I've been following other AIM companies like Arc Minerals and Tertiary Mining who have been drilling and drilling in Zambia, some of it done with huge farm-ins, and they have hit very little of note. This looks to be massive in comparison.

I was just waiting for Andrew4444 to turn up and start casting doubts. From what I remember it was his posts that caused the turnaround at Bushranger when he went out of his way to prove that the low grades were uncommercial and Mr Bird even gave up arguing with him. We are looking at high-grade copper here so let's hope he just shuts up this time around.

That all sounds a little bit overcomplicated and long-term for the average AIM trader and investor. Maybe if the share price starts to push on towards 1p today could be a more immediate target.

Let's hope we get an interview or two out of Mr Bird today. I seem to remember he likes to have a chat with the podcasters, though it's been a while since he's had anything truly exciting to talk about. Maybe the Sunday Rooast bunch if, as someone posted yesterday, they have already been and taken a peek at this prospect.

It is always so much easier to find copper or gold or whatever when there has been previous drilling, which is what we have here with high-grade copper recorded over a length of 50 metres. I'm not sure if it was Glencore who did the previous drilling but they certainly have conducted magnetic and IP ground geophysical surveys over the area.

"A wide-spaced geochemical soil survey supplemented by magnetic and IP ground geophysical surveys undertaken by Glencore identified a number of high priority targets warranting follow-up. In particular, a second breccia pipe located 800m from the main Silverking mineralised body was identified and has not been explored. Evidence at surface suggested possible stockwork or disseminated copper mineralisation between the two breccia pipes. Xtract's proposed exploration work will focus on testing the depth extension of the Silverking breccia pipe, the nearby pipe and general licence exploration."

I expect they stopped using the scanner on Bushranger because the grades were very low - which makes it more difficult to get an accurate figure - and the lengths were so long - I seem to remember the average hole was nearer 1000 metres. Here we have much higher grades and shorter lengths.

Anyway generally the assays are coming through quite quickly these days and also the drill teams are getting a pretty accurate assessment of where the high-grade metals are within the core even before the assays even though they won't know the exact grades.

Yes, I've just fact-checked my post and yes, the Bushranger team did use an XRF Scanner on the first hole. Imagine the buzz if they announce preliminary assays of 5.47% Cu or even 52.2% Cu. Wow. The XRF scanned grades are pretty accurate, even more so on the higher grade intercepts, and it certainly makes for a happier time not having to wait weeks for the lab assay results.

It sounds like they will be using an XRF Scanner which gives a pretty accurate early indication of the sort of grades they are getting. I seem to remember that Colin's team used one on the early Bushranger drills.

It's time the MM's dragged the Bid price up a bit - not that I think anyone in their right mind will sell. This drill has started very quickly and it looks to be a big success so far. 0.78p to buy.

As I said and they are obviously taking it more seriously than some of the posters on here. Fortunately, they have got most of the planned drilling completed.

I think this could quite easily get back to Bushranger share price levels over the next few weeks. I think this will really have the high grades that are so elusive but so attractive and share-price friendly.

There are a lot of companies, many from AIM, drilling to find copper in copper-rich Zambia at the moment but none of them have hit anything to get excited about. Here we already know that we have intercepts that include 50 metres at 5.47% Cu. And all for a £5M m/cap.

The last 3 trades for 500K, 130K and 400K - one of which was mine - are all buys.
