It's been 2 days short of 3 weeks since the update and nearly a month since drilling started. I reckon the share price would probably be nearer 2p if Mr Bird could be bothered to do an interview or two. It's a shame and very thoughtless on his part.

I wonder how many podcasters have been on the phone and sending emails to Mr Bird to try and get an interview with him to discuss the initial Silverking drill results? All of them I would assume.

Podcasts are a vital part of the process these days, particularly to keep the shareholders informed and equally to keep the share price ticking along. This silence really isn't good enough. It's a poor show and very stupid and stubborn.

I'm sick of arguing. Let the share price do the talking.

And unfortunately, even JV's mean very little unless the drill hits some decent pay dirt, as the KoBold JV is showing. No matter how much cash KoBold have and how much they are prepared to throw at the JV, if they don't hit what they are looking for and at the right grades over the right distances, then it all counts for nothing.

I don't think it's the people "in this chat" who are selling out at 0.456p at the moment.

Not "years ago" but slightly less than a year ago. I just checked, and I bought in the day that the hole spud on 9th April 2024 but sold a month or so later when the drill reached over 1000 metres without finding anything of note. I made a nice profit and genuinely have been waiting to get back in here ever since if the news warranted it, but so far nothing has manged to tempt me to part with my dosh.

That hole was spud on 9th April 2024. Only 10 days short of a whole year. I'm not expecting much from the second hole, which has an expected hole depth of approximately 2000 metres.

Insignificant?? - but significant enough to take the share price down by 13.64%!!!

Great Southern Copper - ticker GSCU - is showing how this needs to be done.

They have also drilled into a former mine (in Chile) and they have hit high-grade intercepts of copper and silver, albeit over much smaller distances than what we are potentially seeing at Silverking.

The CEO - Sam Garrett - who has a good reputation, is regularly using words such as "exceptional", "outstanding", "significantly higher than reported/expected", "significant assays", etc, etc, etc. He is also doing podcasts every few days and keeping shareholders informed of progress.

The share price has increased from just over 1p when the drilling commenced to nearly 5p today. The m/cap is about £27.5M and rising. He has got a placing done and out of the way at nearly 3 times the pre-drill share price. Wake up Mr Bird. That is how to do it.

Apologies to Jezzoo. He does know what to expect here from these initial drills but on reading his posts from 20th and 21st March, he just wants a drop back so he can get in cheaper. Good tactic, sir, but easily seen through.

Colin Bird, Executive Chairman of Xtract, commented: "Intersection of potentially high grade copper mineralisation over substantial widths in the first three holes is very encouraging and suggests that the historic drill intercept made at a higher elevation has depth continuity. We are busy defining the shape and extent of the structure in both depth extent and the lateral shape which will potentially contribute to a larger tonnage of future ore. The high copper content of bornite and chalcocite minerals implies that copper grades following assay analysis could be potentially impressive. We have mobilised our in-house metallurgist and will be collecting representative samples later this week. We have our mining team on standby pending the next few drill holes at which point we should have a better indication of the morphology of the first mineralised structure and can complete high level estimates of the likely depth to a conceptual pit floor and a stripping ratio. The bornite and chalcocite intercepts (see core photographs below) together with native copper are encouraging ahead of scheduled copper assays.

The historical assays should be an indication of the grades that we have here. We just need Mr Birdie to stay awake and get on with the job at hand. This isn't like him at all. He usually loves the sound of his own voice and XTR have always been ahead of the game with some fairly accurate XRF scanner readings, which allows the company to get on with the drilling instead of waiting around for weeks and months for the official assays.

Silverking Project drilling update

The Board of Xtract Resources Plc is pleased to confirm the successful completion of the first three diamond drill holes SKIDD001, 002 and 003 at Silverking and the interception in drill core of copper mineralisation over near-continuous downhole lengths of 46.4 metres, 95 metres and 66.2 metres respectively.

Highlights

· Drill hole SKIDD001 intersected what is described in core logs as significant sulphide mineralisation comprising chalcopyrite, bornite and chalcocite over a drill intercept width of 46.4m from a depth of 93.6m.

· Drill hole SKIDD002, drilled approximately 30m below SKIDD001, intersected strong oxide copper mineralisation over a width of 38.2m and a further 56.8m sulphide intersection for a combined 95m mineralised package from a depth of 28m.

· Drill hole SKIDD003 intersected semi-continuous oxide and sulphide mineralisation over a substantial width of 66.2m from a depth of 93m.

· Drilling is continuing with a focus on establishing the morphology of the main pipe-like structure before moving on to drill a second pipe and other structures within the Project area.

· The bornite and chalcocite intercepts (see core photographs below) together with native copper are encouraging ahead of scheduled copper assays.

Historic peak Silverking reported drill intercepts including 50m @ 5.47% Cu in borehole SVKRC002 from 55m to 105m depth. The hole stopped in mineralisation. Mineralised intercepts peaked at 52.2% Cu over a 1m drilled interval.

One thing is certain: XTR must be fully funded (for now at least) - otherwise our Mr Birdie would be shouting from the rooftops, issuing RNS after RNS and doing numerous podcasts to ramp up the share price. Instead we just have an unusual and enexpected silence. It took 1 week to drill the first 3 holes and now we have had 2 weeks and 1 day of nothing.

The valuation is definitely correct with EME's stake in the Duyung PSC/ Mako gas discovery. The only problem is when is the farm-down going to be completed as it is about a year or two overdue, which has left EME in a financial mess and decimated the share price with unnecessary dilution.

Flow rates of 1600-2000 bopd from the Australian oil will certainly make a big difference to the share price and m/cap.

Coro, who hold a 15% stake, had a NPV10 net to Coro US$87M at a US$ 9.97/Mscf (US$80 Brent) in a Q1 2024 Presentation. That would be a bit lower now as Brent is lower and EME only have aa 8.5% stake but it is certainly higher than £30M.

Not wishing to put a damper on anything, and no reason why it should, but it does say in today's RNS:
