The size of this worldwide crisis and they should be looking at selling 20 or 30 times their normal sales figures at least. This is just miserable. They are a small player in this business.

1p reached a bit earlier than expected. Little point in buying as this is just kept alive by the lack of action of the UK at the moment. Sensible action is being taken in countries with far fewer cases than the UK in terms of closing schools and banning gatherings including pubs and restaurants.

Restaurant Group is down 35% so far today. Pub and restaurant ban in New York and Los Angeles. Afraid the British government seem intent on sleeping through this. Crisis, what crisis. 6 of the 10 new cases in China today have come in from abroad - 4 from Spain and 2 from the UK.

It is time for a lockdown in the UK.

Things will get a lot worse here before they get better. UK is in the top 10 of countries for cases and deaths.

A ban on the opening of bars and restaurants is now in force in Italy, Belgium, France and Spain. It probably won't be long before that happens here. If/when it does there won't be any restaurants signing-up because there won't be any open. The share price will probably fall to 1p or lower.

The good news is that the more measures that are put in force to stop the spread the sooner this will all be over. China has been severe and now less than 3 months since the first reports of a strange new deadly virus the new cases and deaths have fallen to next to none.

It now all depends on whether the UK bans all bars and restaurants from opening. Expect new signings to continue for now but at a subdued rate.

The cash they've still got could last a year at a push and still keep a full telesales team up and running.

Italy had restaurants restricted to opening between 8am and 6pm - that was before they closed them all down.

A lot of the restaurants on the App, particularly to the North and Midlands only open from 5pm.

Also comes the risk of office - telesales - closures, though they should be able to work at home and closures in Manila, which seems to be only mildly affected so far but things could get worse.

Also some restaurants might just want to close anyway and some will say call us later when we know what is going on a bit better.

Importantly this setback is not a Dish problem but one caused by outside influences.

Nothing has changed and they can continue to sign new restaurants but unfortunately I do not think the share price will reflect this very much. It will probably stay quite depressed as will the whole restaurant sector. Check out The Restaurant Group, down another 16.96% today and falling like a stone, Wetherspoons, Tasty Group, etc, etc.

I don't think this setback is too worrying, especially as it is only projected to cost a few hundred thousand £'s for the telesales to sign up to 3000 restaurants. Big Dish has the cash. It might be more difficult for the company to raise funds at a premium like last time so the longer they put that off the better.

Swine flu, the last WHO pandemic lasted for just over a year, from April 2009 to August 2010 at which point it was declared officially over. This virus had been around since January but the containment measures are I believe far greater than anything that happened over swine flu. I certainly don't remember having ever been worried about catching swine flu but at the moment the media are doing their very best to terrify everyone about this virus and have whipped this up to a frenzy of fear. And the stock market has followed suit.

The problem remains that there is no point in pretending it is over until it is over and until then eating out is a bit of a no, no and that could get a lot worse if the virus escalates as in Italy.

What I am posting is nothing to do with any value or future value. Posters were saying earlier that the share price should be at $3.00 to match the placing but in actual fact the issue is at about 0.50p.

This explains it. The company will issue 3,333,333 new ADS's but this will be 16,666,665 new ordinary shares. Hence the shares in issue will go up from 153,321,181 before the

One ADS share in the US is not the same as one ordinary share in the UK. The ADS share is a block of five ordinary shares. Five ordinary shares make one ADS share.

There are people posting that the share price in the UK is not $3 or £2.30p. I'm not surprised as that is the price for a block of 5 shares in the US. Try dividing $3 or £2.30p by 5 for an equivalent share price in the UK.

I'll repeat that:

Each ADS offered represents five (5) ordinary shares. So the issue price is $3 divided by 5 which is $0.60C or approximately 0.50p.

Difficult to know which way this is going to go in this country. Italy has it bad, very bad. We could go the same way. If so:

There's probably not much point in holding many shares here until this virus is over and gone.

The market is taking another good bashing today. Oil down nearly 5%, FTSE down 3.68%, etc, etc

So from an average of 50 per week in February, we are now averaging under 35 a week in March. This is a slowdown, as can be expected.
