The share price is exactly half what it was at the time of the IPO - so that's two years of negative growth. Two years of nothing, two years of no revenue, two years of wiffle-waffle.

Yawn, yawn, yawn.

A few posters will keep ramping, hoping to make their little profits on the little upswing but eventually with no revenue for 6 months it'll all be a waste of time and people will come to their senses and the share price will be back down to 1p.

There is just a short-term rather modest profit opportunity here - and that is all based on lots of talk and fancy ideas and a lot of promises that never lead to anything.

I've spent one week short of two years wasting my time on Big Dish. The management didn't have clue what they were doing when they floated and the share price drifted from 4.5p to 1.5p - warning signal!!! It certainly wasn't a share to put a lot of money in.

I did make some profit when the share price climbed to 7p/8p and sold out near the top and was very happy but then stupidly I put it all back in at the time of the placing a week or so later and promptly lost 90% of my profits. Disaster.

Then they finally got a lucky break with the telesales team and the share price looked like it was finally going to rise with the addition of hundreds and even thousands of restaurants - only for Covid to whack that on the head.

Now they have the chance to get back on with that again but the stupid, meddling management have decided to change everything. Hopeless.

They even now believe they can do better than Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats - that's just dreamland.

If the company had known what they were doing from the time of the IPO and used a telesales team from day 1 they could have signed 3000/6000 restaurants in 6 months and the share price would have risen from 4.5p to 45p or 60p and everyone would have made a complete killing. Instead they didn't have a clue - and still don't now.

This is now a boutique share which some posters will use to make little profits but no-one in their right minds would invest any sizeable sum here - unless they want to risk losing most of it.

For an idea that had so much potential the management have made a complete hash of this from day 1. People still believe that they are going to make a fortune out of it - but in reality everyone should have done that already BUT it hasn't happened and probably never will.

Oh, and no-one has ever heard of Big Dish - and probably never will.

I don't get it. They should have started up where they left off. There isn't any need to change anything. Restaurant take-outs will soon disappear, the Govt scheme is only for 1 month and that is a pain to Big Dish anyway, so why change anything. ItJust meddling for the sake of it. And a lot of complicated words, most of which are way over my head - Big Dish-to-Go and Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS") model - means nothing to me. Yield Management was and is fine.

They've only been shut for a few months and the restaurants are now desperate to get diners in the door and the yield management model would be just the thing to get people eating out again. Leave it as it was, charge per head and get new restaurants on the App is all they needed to do.

That's my opinion.

Meantime can someone please tell me are Big Dish charging normal commissions or is the whole caboodle free until the end of the year?

I can't believe that beebopalula's last post was on 31st July 2019. He's only been gone a year. It seems more like four or five.

I wonder how long Tanya7 will last. She's taken 4 posts not to answer my question but just to be rude and now she's started on Ron. Pure nasty aggression - just as we've seen here before from others like her. Happily they all go after a while.

Also what is going on with the 0% and 10% discount restaurants?

Can someone remind me what is going on with the 0% and 10% discounts. Also are Big Dish getting paid for the normal discounts ie.25%/50% or is that for free as well.

While we're on the subject of TR1's Aidan Bishop had 45,000,000 shares at the IPO - plus he bought another 2,000,000 - and Justin Boer had 39,000,000. Plus there has never been a TR1 for the California Family fund that funded the placing at 7.2p (I'm not sure what planet they were on at the time!!!!!).

This is also a copy of the relevant info from the IPO. Towards the bottom it states that LAC Ventures Ltd had 39,000,000 shares at the time of the IPO. The extra shares issued at the time of the IPO took their holding from 24.5% to 13.7%. As of today their holding is 9.87%.

Not sure why the TR1 has popped out today. They haven't done anything by the book during there last 2 years so not sure why they've decided to be straightforward now.

Let's face it, everyone here, and the share price, was expecting this to resume where they left off a few months ago. Get the telesales team back up and running. Okay, maybe some restaurants will not re-open but that could have been easily offset by new signings.

Instead the management - Bishop and Boer - who have been stranded in the Philippines for months and are now completely out of touch with what is going on in this country, have had a complete brain flip and decided to change everything. Now all of a sudden they are going to offer a free service to the restaurants for the next 6 months. Not a few weeks or a month or two but 6 whole months.

The website is a complete mess, and that is the website on my PC. The website on my mobile is dysfunctional, as is the APP. In February 2020 they said "The BigDish tech team is currently working on a complete overhaul of the search functionality within the App which will bring it up to the standard of leading global booking apps." They haven't, as what we have now got is a load of rubbish.

As for the share price. It will go low but this time there isn't going to be anything to make it recover - at least not for the next 6 months or so.

5073 restaurants live on eatigo today. At their peak, pre-Covid, they had around 5400. So most are back now and open with business as usual.

I feel Big Dish would have been better just waiting for the restaurants to re-open and continuing also with business as usual and also continued signing up new restaurants as they re-open and get back to normal.

No major changes were required. They certainly didn't want to get involved in home delivery and try and compete with the likes of deliveroo and Just Eat. That is truly bonkers.

This is now a complete mess. No income for the next 6 months - and yet they still have all their staff and directors to pay. Bonkers.

Eatigo are business as normal, still doing yield management, some have a take-away option - and not I would assume a home delivery option. Instead of eating at the restaurant, the diners can pick the food up themselves. Delivery from a restaurant shouldn't even be an option.

Discoeats are business as normal - 86 restaurants are due to re-open on 16th July. That isn't many short of the maximum they had on there before. Same yield management discounts as before.

Yet Big Dish have completely f*cked up by trying to change anything. They cannot compete with the big delivery companies, that would be pointless to even try and now they have no cash coming in for the next 6 months. This is all total lunacy. It shows how out of touch they are with their offices and most of the management in the Philippines.

They will also have enormous trouble getting any sort of funding with zero revenue for the next 6 months.

Truly bonkers.

60 restaurants from 650. Oh dear. Maybe the correct share price is 0.45p!!!

And 30 of the 60 still listed aren't offering either seats or discounts and the rest, I believe, are being listed for free by Big Dish. Not to worry there wasn't much revenue anyway. With the company burning through £2 Million per year £20K/£30K revenue was never going to make much difference.

Tanya7 is another beebopalula - maybe she is beebopalula. She certainly ramps like he did. But then even he lost eventually and disappeared - as will Big Dish at some stage just like Big Dish Asia. The App/website will not be updated and then they'll just close down one day and no-one will ever hear anything from them again - or miss them for that matter. Curtains.

6 locations and 60 restaurants - though it's actually only 5 locations as Poole and Bournemouth are generally listed together. Of the 5 locations, 4 of them begin with 'B' - who remembers that one!!.

Of the 60 on today, 18 are offering 0% discount while 12 are 'No seats available' and won't even let Big Dish take a booking for them at full price.

No sorry it's curtains here I'm afraid. No hope.
