Pizza Hut Aberdeen now live - it was hiden behind the server error.

Looks like you can book every day - all at 0% discount for now.

Work in progress I would like to think. Tastecard have a 2 for 1 deal with Pizza Hut for their eat in diners - can Dish get the same?

As far as I can make out the old platform with yield management will stay and the BigDish-to-Go will also be on the same App/website, but accessible separately.

As far as I can make out the BigDish-to-Go is just for restaurant takeouts but not for non-restaurant takeaways.

I am not really interested in the BigDish-to-Go side of this. If you look at the restaurants - Wildwood, Pizza Hut - they have already done a deal with deliveroo, who are doing the delivery side, no doubt for a fixed fee. If anything Big Dish can actually still take the booking, letting the restaurant supply the food at the agreed price (discount or no discount) and deliveroo can do the delivery side for a set fee. Why Big Dish would want to get involved in the delivery side of it beats me. I think that this was decided before it became apparent that deliveroo are happy just to get a delivery fee for their part.

I make the location count 64. Bigbaddaz said 73 earlier but I can't see that many. And only 59 of the 64 are live online.

Current count is 250 - plus 5 locations still have server errors.

Fine, so most of the Wildwoods and DimT's are back on - there are 41 altogether according to their websites.

The Wildwoods are all showing 0% discount. I did ask a genuine question recently as to what exactly is going on with the 0% discounts. At the time I got the usual series of rude replies but in truth I still do not know what is going on with this. Any explanations will be appreciated.
Next, we need to see Pizza Hut - and exactly what deal is being offered.

And it's time the website made it perfectly clear where and how diners can book the 50%off Eat Out to Help Out seats.

I see that some of the restaurants on the App are getting very generous and offering 241% off. That seems to be an outrageously good deal - but then I realised that it is probably just the wrong way of saying 2 for 1.

Maybe one of the guys in Manilla shouted across to his mate - maybe a new recruit - and said "add 2 for 1 to those restaurants" and he/she did literally add it as 241% off.

I think that we need to see some of these restaurants actually live on the platform. Out of the 40 or 50 Wildwoods and DimT restaurants that were on before lockdown there are now 17 live.

And where it the mention of the Eat Out to Help Out participation on the App. There is no mention of it anywhere.

The next worry here is that when Big Dish do finally wake up and start adding restaurant numbers in the thousands that the tech team won't be up to the job.

So some of the Wildwoods are back on now but not all of them. Aberdeen, Belfast, Wirral, Sheffield locations still have a server error.

are not on the platform yet at all and have already missed the deadline of 1st August and have missed the start of the Govt Initiative as of today.

If you want a count it is Friday's total plus 17 Wildwood and DimT'S.

Some of the Wildwoods are now live - but they only seem to be the ones that have a current location ie. London, Nottingham.

My point about the Server Error was that they couldn't even get 7 new locations - Liverpool, Sheffield, etc and nothing to do with the chains - on properly so how are they going to get all of these chains on the platform - and how long is it going to take because they should be on there already for the launch today.

though the RNS's have never made it clear.

The Eat Out to Help Out scheme starts today and only runs for a month so these additional chain restaurants need to appear or to start appearing soon.

I just wish these operational updates would give some information about exactly when these new restaurants are going to be added to the platform.

The new locations added on Friday still show a Server Error and are not live. Wildwood and DimT are still not on the platform and the Eat Out to Help Out initiative starts today but not one of the chain restaurants are as yet on the platform.

The tech team have always struggled to get 20 so new restaurants live before and now they have nearly 2000 to add. How long is this going to take - or are they going to perform some kind of a miracle and add them all in one go?

If anyone is in touch with Big Dish then the server error needs checking. It's been like that for at least 3.5 hours so it is not the server uploading/updating. Just the new territories - the rest are fine.

I don't think I will regret any of my posts, which incidentally are all still on here from October 2009. Angelaj6611's posts though have all been deleted and beepopalula is still apparently in Papua New Guinea.

Judging by the huge number of posts and knowledgeability of this share and posters here from launch, then Tanya7 obviously changed his/her user name in April 2020 when he/she started posting on this board.
