There are a number of restaurants that still have the red Big Dish logo. If you bring these up individually and read the "About" most of them are either Ember Inns, Sizzling Pubs or Vintage Inns.

I think that just about everything that has been added to the 209 or so that were on board on Monday are chains.

I can honestly say that this is the first time in two years since Big Dish floated that this company have exceeded my expectations. I have always been quite harsh here about the need to sign up restaurants and they have finally done just that. This week has been a giant step forwards. And the App is now brimming with quality restaurants from the north of Scotland to Cornwall. An excellent week.

Adding further chains now to the App/website should be very easy. The hard part was getting the first one or two chains to join.

Big Dish have just added nearly 2000 restaurants at the cost of a couple of weeks wages and nothing more.

Anyone worried about funding should look at eatigo. They started business in 2013 and then in 2016 - 3 years later (while Big Dish have only been floated for 2 years) with only 700 restaurants in 2 locations, they were funded for $10M (about £8Million) by Trip Advisor. Then again in 2018, with 4000 restaurants in 5 locations, they were funded for another $10M. Trip Advisor's stake is unknown but typically in these off-market deals it would be 10%/20% altogether.

With currently 4650 restaurants, some of which are in India and hence closed, they have had $25M (£20M) in funding altogether.

Over 2000 restaurants. Unbelievable.

At 1p per 100 restaurants the share price would be 20p. The nearest we have seen to that (1p per 100) was 5p for 600 restaurants in February, so allowing for that discount the share price would be 16p/17p. Even allowing a 50% discount the share price would still be 10p.

Even more important is that these are top-quality restaurants. There are some great names on the App/website now.

That is a big jump - from 1498 to 2033 overnight.

So I think we can safely assume that the rest will be added shortly taking the total to over 2000.

All Bar One - 56 locations and 35 live on Big Dish so far.

Pizza Hut say on their website that they have re-open over 200 of their dine-in restaurants. I think I read somewhere the figure was 213.

Only 101 Pizza Hut - and I think they have over 200 re-open after lockdown.

Just doing some checking here. TGIFriday have 85 locations according to their website and there are currently 50 live on the BIg Dish platform. Others yet to be listed are 2 in Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Reading and 1 in Guildford and Swansea. That makes 62 so there are another 23 here and there as well.

So it looks like this is work in progress and there will be 2000 plus restaurants as soon as the rest are listed.

I see Bristol is now onboard with 35 restaurants. Still not the 2000+ the tweets claim. Nonetheless, towns and cities such as Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Reading, Swindon, Blackpool and lots of others are still to be added. Hopefully, it will be 2000 plus when they are all on board.

I will do a count here tomorrow.

Looking at the locations and London figures it does not look to be much different from the 1448 I counted recently. It definitely isn't "over 2000" as they keep tweeting. I don't mind if they sign more chains quickly while they have the chance but I don't think much of them just pretending there are more on than there are.

Obviously it's a good buy price. We were at nearly 5p back in February with only 600 restaurants, a lot of which were small independents. Most of the trades have been buys today but the volume is tiny.

All of the restaurant chains were up 10% yesterday and are up another 10% today. We are falling behind.

Localised lockdowns shouldn't hamper the share price.

I would have liked to see the share price rise here if only to reflect the sheer quality of the new restaurants added to the platform.

Anyway, while Monday was a share price drop day for the restaurant sector, probably in response to news articles about the risk of further lockdowns, the last two days have seen rises in the sector, with Restaurant Group, Marstons, and Mitchells and Butlers, etc all rising up to 10% over the last two days. It's time Big Dish started to move up too.

I counted them alphabetically and have my counts. I have rechecked some of the smaller letters and London and the numbers are the same - or very near anyway. Actually London is now 234 against the previous 229 so maybe there are a few more than yesterday. There may be a few more on overall but I wouldn't say 1500 as yet.
