All in all a very frustrating day.

I don't think Loxley was ever going to be a big deal. In fact, despite holding here for a few years I'd never even heard of it until planning was refused first time around. There is not a lot of gas there and any decent CEO wouldn't have bothered with it if there was even a small chance that planning was going to be refused.
Personally, I thought the Isle of Wight was always the big one to go for not some tiny gas field.

On a day when apparently 2 tankers have left Horse Hill full of oil, the share price has been decimated by this planning nonsense.

Now silly Mr Sanderson has to decide whether to make a stink and go through all the fuss of an appeal - which I expect he'll win - or not even bother as it's only a tiny gas field at best bearing in mind that UKOG has now made a move for the Turkish assets - where planning permission, etc is apparently far more favourable.

All very frustrating - and a badly hammered share price.

This was over 0.80p at the beginning of the year and before Covid. While most stocks have picked up over the last few months this is still at an all-time low.

Very poor.

There's a lot of buying going on - and quite sizeable amounts - considering how dead this board is.

The spread is very tight - 0.50p to buy and 0.4967p to sell but most of the trades are clearly buys with plenty of 2 million - £10K - trades amongst the smaller amounts.

Now 0.5075p to buy and 0.50p to sell.

The trades shown above seem to call everything a buy but in fairness, most of the trades are buys anyway.

The Saas model - which I will admit I never even understood what the f*ck it was all about - doesn't even exist in the UK let alone be viable for an international roll-out.

Home delivery hasn't happened and never will.

There is no-one left in the UK with the telesales team disbanded.

I'm just surprised that Aidan and Boer don't just sell their 55% holdings and take whatever they can get - even at 1/2p that would make them about £1 Million between them - which is better than nothing, which is all they are heading for once Aidan has gone.

It just needs the Nomad to resign now for this to be all over.

There is very little for them to stay now. The CEO has gone, Aidan is about to leave, there are no other directors which I think breaks stock market rules, the whole business has been a fiasco and a pack of lies from the start. The only employees are now in the Phillippines or soon to be in India and there is no sign of any future revenue.

It would be kind to all concerned if the Nomad resigned because then they'd have to close down and delist.

Even beebopalula, Monty, angelaj, tanya and bob fisher have all gone now.

'Whilst our primary goal has been upon delivering long-term cash flow from the Portland oil pool, we have also continued to test and evaluate the underlying Kimmeridge oil pool, as we believe this can provide significant future production and revenue upside. We plan to change HH-1 to a dual Portland and Kimmeridge producer in the coming months following a return to stability post Covid-19. Then, in due course, we anticipate using some of the resultant cash flow to drill further Horse Hill wells.'

It's time this was done. That should easily double production, if not more than double it at very little extra cost.

The Kimmeridge has always flowed as well if not better than the Portland so I don't know why they are just ignoring it.

I'm pretty confident that I will recoup my paper loss at some stage - though it may take a while.

I may even get it back elsewhere in the meantime as the market is pretty lively at the moment.

At the moment they may just as well cut off the horizontal drill and just produce from the Portland vertical well. Maybe even bother to try the Kimmeridge - which they've hardly really bothered with so far despite even 1 of the Kimmeridge layers flowing better than the Portland.

Long horizontal wells are a feature of fracking drills but are not naturally associated with free flowing oil. The Kimmeridge is naturally fracked and this type of horizontal drill will suit this down to the ground.

I have no oil drilling experience but I can still see how easy a long column through the Kimmeridge would be. These are very deep zones. A drill could go down vertically until it reaches the first main Kimmeridge layer and then hit off at an angle so the drill goes for about 1000 ft or so through the zone.

Then the drill can go down vertically again to reach the second main Kimmeridge layer, at which point the drill can go in the opposite direction for another 1000 ft or so and it will end up almost directly under the drill pad.

I bet that would flow okay. It would probably do the 3000 bopd that they are allowed to produce on its own - and there would be zero chance of hitting water.

Let's start again. That got posted before I had finished.

It's quite obvious to anyone with a brain that the horizontal drill needs to be through the Kimmeridge zones and not through the Portland.

The Portland is naturally flowing oil. It's not very deep from what I remember and there's not a lot of pressure and no matter how far you go with a horizontal drill it'll never flow much better than the original vertical column. As it happens, to add to the stupidity, Sanderson and Cartwright - who incidentally never seems to get much of the blame for this fiasco, despite putting his name to most of the operational RNS's - seemed to have drilled and drilled until they finally hit water, which was probably inevitable. If they drilled a bit further they may even have hit the English Channel.

Angus at Balcombe has already proved that a horizontal drill through the Kimmeridge can flow at fantastic rates and that is all they need to do at Horse Hill.

Alternatively, they needn't have even bothered with a horizontal well and could have conjoined the Portland with the top two Kimmeridge layers which would have probably produced between 600 and 800 bopd at very low cost and not too much time or effort.

I am confident that I will get rid of my large paper loss here at some stage in the future but it may take some time they way Sanderson and Cartwright are blundering on. Maybe when the flow test at Balcombe is redone then Sanderson and Cartwright may notice it and put 2 an 2 together and realise their simple mistake.

It actually quite a shameful piece of very poor technology and certainly nothing to get excited about or to dream of applying to other industries.

It looks like Big Dish failed at being a discount restaurant card company. They then changed to yield management and dismally failed at that in Asia and have all but failed in the UK. They then decide that a SaaS model is the way to go but can't get any funding so have failed at that before it's even started and now they are going to change to the Venture Builder model.

Meanwhile, Aidan's off too - abandoning a sinking ship is I think the expression. I'm surprised he hasn't sold all of his shares for whatever he can get for them before they are completely worthless.

Big Dish has failed to see their platform generate revenue in the restaurant industry but now they reckon that this unsuccessful tech will work wonders in all sorts of other industries. Dream on.

Maybe they will just delist and take the company private - all shareholders except the previous management lose everything.

that is a very silly thing to say. Big Dish App/website is very second-rate. Both eatigo and discoeats have a far better App/website than Big Dish.

Let's face it they have gone bust - and with Aidan stuck in Manilla that can't do a damn thing about it - except constantly change the whole direction of the company, which seems to be more a pitiful attempt to try and keep the share price from collapsing completely. And why not as the major shareholders still own about three-quarters of the shares in issue.

By the way who is ever going to want a website/App like the one Big Dish have ended up with where the tech guys don't have a clue about UK geography. It is a joke and would be the laughing stock of the industry if anyone had ever come across it.

Also we once heard that the company had been approached by several interested parties who wanted to acquire Big Dish Asia - of course as we now know that was all nonsense as they just closed down Big Dish Asia.

It sounds to me that with Aidan Bishop stepping down this Venture Builder model is all nonsense too - just a lot of words to keep the share price from collapsing.
