As much as we all want this to go back up to a decent level again I have to say what we are seeing here must be bordering on lunacy, for weeks the price was dropped on lots of buying being shown as sells and now the price is being jacked up with £100 trades ( or attempting to ) for the last few days. It's a wonder anyone bothers with aim anymore.

Sunday is an important day for Argentina as it is the elections run off which could prove beneficial to ppc. If M Macri wins it should be if the experts are to be believed a more attractive country for investment as long as he sticks to his policies . This could make ppc more attractive to any of the interested parties.

He served as a Non Executive Director of Imperial Energy Corporation Plc from June 11, 2007 to January 2009. He is a qualified Facilities Engineer trained with Shell. Mr. Shepherd holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield University as well as an MBA from INSEAD Business School.

I have just been looking back at the appointment and wondered if anyone had picked up on the fact he was at Imperial energy. Which begs the question did he play a major role in the deal done with the Indian national oil company, and has he been brought in to help with farm out deals, may be way off the mark but at least a topic to consider.

Apart from the poo we had 2 unproductive but informative drills last year which as hammered the sp plus dilution. Production in Argentina seemed to slide a little and is now being corrected with an up to now successful work over program. On the more positive side seismic's in Argentina and Paraguay have been completed and are looking just a bit special. All we need now is the funding to take things further.

Cjg we may get some indication of who the seller is once the new shares come onto the market tomorrow, let's see owhich of the major holders increase and any that drop. I suspect it may be Harverson who are linked to PV or maybe Norges who have a habit of moving in and out of ppc. It will be interesting to see if the rest of the board increase their positions
