Before people start I happen to quite like VT he adds colour in an area often dominated by quite bland folk. I also recognise his job is to tell everybody not to worry and not to promote SNG.

Market sentiment is generally pretty negative with widespread discussion around a market correction.

Those here long enough know that all conquering vaccine headlines hurt us and those possibly on the fringes or less researched run for the hills.
My instinct is that RM will want to present SNG as a strong thriving concern to the Americans not one whose falling share price raises questions of confidence.

For the last reason alone I would imagine RM will want to steady the share price ship and maintain value as part and parcel of any intended or ongoing negotiations.
That would make sense but let’s see what is forthcoming until results can be produced.

I have seen very bad news broadcasting in different countries and for years the BBC was for me a shining example of how it should be done.
Wherever you were in the world you could rely on it.

Sadly as the years go on it is for me a well meaning toothless tiger. Often these days it shies away from the ‘difficult’ but important news and instead goes with a nicey nicey story of little value.

It will trot out government spin with little scrutiny of the facts. The Cliff Richard debacle has seemingly left it frightened and afraid so now it’s safer not to try.
