With Covid figures so bad in the USA and PCR testing going full whack there, it's irritating that ncyt don't confirm how much they are involved (we can only guess at ncyt's devices being used by a US supplier (1 or more), and quantities are unknown). Ditto the world's airports: with so many countries insisting on PCR certitificates for incoming travellers, who is supplying all these tests? Local suppliers (eg in Asia)? Involvement of ncyt, again unknown. Last week France makes entry into the country conditional on PCR tests. Again no indication that we are a supplier.

Is there a danger that the UK Gov't will continue to buy bog standard LFTs till the vaccines (be there 4 or 7 of them) wipe out the virus. ncyt's machines, albeit gold standard, seem too pricey, too slow or whatever. Where was the breakdown on sales info for the UK, eg how much did the Cambridge operation with AZ deliver (and the Lighthouse Laboratories). 277m revenue seemed on the low side. Everything hinges now, on next phase contracts at the NHS, one supposes.

Maybe people will come across from ITM? They have high capital outlay up front (and a bad loss just published). CWR has a royalty type model, generating revenue with low capital spend upfront, so the profit/loss in the early years should be better IMO than at ITM.

This is a good solid company. To achieve WHO status is impressive. Why the London market expects exact guidance for 2021 is beyond me. No one has a clue what's around the corner. If vaccines don't reach poor countries in good numbers, that's a ticking time bomb for when airports restart in earnest because Europe thinks it's vaccinated and 100% safe. .. Enter the latest hybrid virus. Retweak vaccines. Reinject into arms. Rinse and repeat for the next 10 years.
