Been running this baby for almost 6 years and the sp has done nothing at all. I don’t know his salary package but I’m guessing he’s cumulatively taken several million pounds for delivering .....??

Some really interesting prospects here both at home and in far flung places. Always easier to “value” a U.K. prospect in my experience. Upland estimate the “P50 oil in Place” for Wick at 250m barrels, their advisors think 219m barrels. Either way with a typical North Sea recovery type factor of 40-45% this makes c100m barrels of recoverable oil the ultimate prize in this upcoming Wick well. That’s exciting and what E&P stocks are all about!!! GLA.

I certainly hope this offshore well gets drilled soon as I don’t think that a local (or any) politician can stop drilling in U.K. waters where everything has been carried out in accordance with U.K. law. Wytch Farm oil field has been producing away here since the 1980s I believe so this area of Dorset has had a lot of economic benefit from the oil business.
A successful appraisal of the original Colter discovery will have a material impact on the United net asset value. Whether the sp moves up by the same amount after a well is successful is anyone ‘s guess. Dyor

Interesting video update. The directors described the Colter and Wick wells as being “transformational”.
Reabold has an effective and indirect interest in the Colter licence of 15% and around 12% in Wick. Should both these upcoming wells be successful that would mean that the operator Corallion has a pretty high Net Asset Value!!!
At current $85/barrel oil prices Colter NAV must be worth at least $500million to the Wytch Farm partners and Wick much more than this amount if there really are 250m barrels “in place”. That would make Corallion NAV worth a lot of money! GLA

Buying anything in the public markets direct from PE has proved less than fruitful over the years, but an IPO a few months prior to the Brexit date!!!
Brilliant brand and top quality cars but I don’t understand why anyone would buy into a minority interest right now?

Short term it’s hard to see big sp bounce (unless bid made by south Africans again).
c80% of SPI revenue from NHS and Health Insurance & both under intense pressure. Private Pay has potential but is only 20% of their current revenue line. Costs rising across the board. Loads of debt (including annual fixed rent increases) plus lots of capex required to comply/compete. Oh and both the other U.K. private hospital chains (Ramsay and BMI) just w/off their equity. GLA.
